Good glove wrap, choose wisely
Have several different brands of glove wraps. This one provides the most cushioning due to the thick soft rubbery material. It’s very easy on your precious glove. The cut-out allows the wrap to form around the back of the glove nicely, providing a better fit. The Velcro closure is very strong, almost too strong since it takes a lot to pull apart. The only downside is that I can see how other reviewers tore this thing. The material is not really intended for extremely tight tension. It has nice natural elasticity, but trying to really stretch it tight will probably result in it eventually failing since it is rubber and not woven nylon. If you want very thick cushioned protection for transport and storage, go with this Mizuno. If you want to really crank the glove tight around a ball to break it in, go with the nylon webbing model, but be aware they provide very little protection to the glove. The Markwort is somewhere in between, providing significantly less padding than the Muzuno, but greater strength for tight break-in wrapping. Update: Despite heavy use and really stretching tight to break in new gloves, this neoprene wrap has held up perfectly and has provided great protection to glove thrown in my bag. The velcro is still plenty strong, and I’ve grown to really love how the slot in the wrap allows a ball kept in the glove to form and maintain a good pocket. I’ve bought several more.

A must for your baseball glove
Put a softball in your glove/mitt and wrap it with one of these. If you want your baseball glove to perform well, last, have the correct shape, and always be broken in, this glove wrap can't be beat. I have one for each of my and my son's gloves/mitts and they now last longer and are always ready to use. I have taught my son to use them, he now takes better care of his gear. I love this product, protect your investment.

the wrap is sturdy and secure
This wrap works really well. When properly wrapped around a glove that is holding a ball in the pocket, the wrap is sturdy and secure. I use these to shape my daughter's softball gloves and have had no issues. The wrap has not stretched out (bought my first one a year ago), and the Velcro still adheres and holds. I like the width of this wrap, you just put it around the whole glove, you don't have to wrap it around multiple times like some of the narrow style wraps (narrow style - think ace bandage). The design allows my daughter to be able to put the wrap on herself after using the glove. I not only would buy this again, I recently bought a second one so we can wrap two gloves at a time.

Heavy-duty construction; works well so far
This glove wrap appears to do what it needs to do -- it is solidly constructed of heavy-duty neopgrene, and it holds a glove in the position it should be in to preserve its shape and the pocket. It is resilient to oils and will allow a glove to dry, though I believe the Markwort product may do a bit better job, because it comes with a built-in handle to allow the glove to hang while in the wrap. The Markwort glove wrap has a ball-holder built in, but it is made of much thinner material. Time will tell which one holds up better with constant use. I'm comparing the two across this season.

Don't wrap it too tight...
Pros: - stretchy - adjustable: quality velcro allows you to wrap it around different sized gloves (I cut off the tag so it wouldn't cover a section of the velcro). The velcro is sufficiently strong to hold the wrap securely around a brand new glove Cons: - quality: the neoprene ripped inside the middle slit and at the stitching (see pictures) when it wrapped it tightly around my new glove. This shouldn't be a problem if you're using this to wrap older gloves just to keep the shape, but if you're using this to break in a new glove, you might want to try out some of the other products or be careful how tightly you wrap the glove

Can't Go Wrong
I have both the Markwort Glove Locker and the Mizuno Glove Wrap. While they are both good wraps, I prefer the Markort because it is a little thinner and stretches a little more easily around the glove than the Mizuno. However, the Mizuno may hold up better over the long run because it feels more durable. Time will tell. I use the Markwort Glove Locket on my son's Mizuno GXF75 First Base Mitt and the Mizuno Wrap on his Rawlings RCM30TMD Catcher's Mitt. You couldn't go wrong with either wrap. The Markort Glove Locker also has a ball pouch to more easily keep the ball in place in the glove's pocket.

Useful for gloves
I really like these wraps and they are easy for the kids to set a ball in the glove and wrap it to keep a pocket and not let the glove get smashed flat in their bag. I have used several of them over the years.

Good glove wraps
These wraps are great. Wish there was just a bit more of the Velcro area, so they fit smaller gloves too. THese are very convenient to be able to throw a ball in your glove when done practicing and put the wrap on to keep the glove in good shape in your bag. Use them for all our gloves.
