Still the same old foam that wears out sooooo quickly

My son has been a keeper for ages, and he's a gear hog. He's always wanting to try new gloves, and they keep getting more expensive. These were pricey, and I hoped that they would be a bit more durable than the less expensive gloves. I don't think that palm foam comes in any different forms. I know the flexibility of the fingers is a big deal, and he's super happy with the gloves overall. He is also on his second Storelli jersey and loves those as well. He just finished his JV season, and the foam on these is nearly worn through. We expect to get one season of soccer out of a pair of gloves, and they did last well through fall ball. He uses the same gloves for practices and games, so they see a fair amount of action. While his coach puts him through the paces during practices, he didn't have tons of shots on goal during games this season as his defensive team was amazing. We were hoping that the gloves might get him through travel season this year, too, but he'll need a new pair for that. Tougher foam would probably detract from functionality. I just wish they lasted a bit longer for the price. My son doesn't share my frustration with disintegrating foam. He loves these gloves. There has been talk of just ordering another of the same pair for travel league games, and he doesn't usually get the same pair again. So if you're a keeper and cost doesn't bug you or someone else is footing the bill ;), you'll be very happy with these.

Professional Level Gloves at a great price

The media could not be loaded. First time I order from this brand but I have to say I am impressed. I haven't tested out the gloves heavily yet but It's very sturdy and the padding is great, There are grooves on the pad to make it more flexible I think which works, check the pictures I attached. The finger protection is one of the best I have seen, If you are playing against hard shooters, like any high school or college level, you will need good finger protection, My previous keeper gloves had finger protection but I dived for a powerful shot and I got a tendon injury on my middle finger (Mallet Finger) even though The Reusch Gloves I have has finger protection, I compared this to my Reusch which are priced around the same price but These have way better protection for fingers and thumb. The wrist is snug, I ordered size 10, I suggest ordering one size bigger as I was using 9 in Reusch and these fit good, The wrist is snug and has some protection also, check the video. Overall, Great pair of gloves for the price, Any other famous brand will cost $50 more which this same quality. The bag that comes with the gloves are also very good quality and has enough space, usually with other glove brands the bag they come with is made for brand new gloves, once you start using them it's hard to put the gloves in the bag as it has tight space. I will update my review as I use this more since I am wondering how the padding will last on the gloves as with my Reusch gloves they were ripping in about a month.

So far so good!

I broke down and purchased these gloves as my 13yo son had already gone through 3 goalie gloves halfway through the season. At $40-$50 apiece, something needed to be done. So I broke down and bought that I felt would be sturdier gloves after much research. My son is a full-time goalie for a competitive traveling club team. With his team, he plays soccer 6 days a week (5 days of practice and 1 day for his games), so he uses his gloves excessively. The other gloves he purchased would fall apart at the palm and the first week. He has had these gloves for a few weeks now and they have yet to fall apart at the palm. I will update this post with more information as his year progresses. But...so far so good! He is stating that these are his favorite gloves so far and that the gripping on the palm is better than any glove that he has ever owned.

These gloves gave me confidence

My second pair. The first pair was from a different company and didn’t have fingers protection and after every match one or two fingers would hurt. This one, I can stop the harshest ball without feeling the impact of the ball on my hand and fingers. I also like how tight the wrist protection is. Many said if you wear size 8 in other gloves then go for 9 with this one. I decided to go 8, yes they are tight but not enough to cut circulation.

Snug fit, great grip, wear well under hard use. Since my first pair 3 years ago, I am a serious fan of these gloves!

These gloves are excellent in every way. As a full time goalie on 2-3 teams, I go through 3 or 4 pairs a year. Being a female, my hands are on the slender side with long fingers. I love the snug fit, the grip is fantastic, and I personally like the extra protection from the spines (due to slender fingers). I very, very highly recommend these gloves and have been using them for 3 years. I also like to rotate my older pairs to training when I get a fresh pair. And I always keep an extra new pair as backup. These are the gloves I don’t want to be without.

snug fit, nice adjustability, BUT excessive palm wear on turf

Out of the box these felt great, size for size the overall fit was slightly smaller than that of a Reusch gloves I've been using for years, but not a major problem. The finger stretch was also slightly smaller, though this corrected with removal of the pinky finger spine (to increase ball throwing control). My biggest issue is that playing on turf the palms appear to be already starting to break down after ~ 180 mins of game play. At this rate of wear, I'll probably be lucky to get a full season out of them. If Storelli was to put a more durable palm material in place, these would be a winner.

Great gloves for Adults

Bought these for my son. This is a great glove but we had to return them. Did not like the fact that there were no finger saves in it. Plus not as grippy as our other Storelli gloves

Love these gloves so much, love the finger saves with the thumb saves as well! I should have ordered a size up, a mistake on my part, but they still function well.

Descepcionado

He usado Reusch, Puma, Nike y ahora estos guantes y la verdad es que me siento descepcionado. El Grip deja mucho que desear, la palma por más que la activé no tiene ese agarre que esperas de un guante profesional y es muy vulnerable a la corrosión. Con lo que gasté pudo haber comprado otros Reusch.
