Light weight, warm, user freindly (except maybe texting with a Samsung s8)

I bought a pair of these about 5 yrs ago an they worked great keeping my hands. The gloves are kind of thick but after time I finally started getting some holes in the fingers were the stitching gave way. I received these an at first was disappointed. The gloves are a lot lighter fabric something like you would wear for archery season. I was wrong. As thin as they are they are warm. An unlike my older gloves the webbing on the palm an finger's makes it nice to grip things when you don't have the outer shell on. I have a Samsung s8 an as for texting with them on it's easier than the old pair but not by much. If I find that sweet spot on the tip of the glove it's fairly easy but not consistent. I find myself rolling my finger tip around tryin to find that sweet spot everytime. But if warmth is more important that texting it doesn't matter. A few times I removed the gloves when it felt like it was warming up but ended up putting them back on. They were kind of damp inside because my hand had been sweating a little while I was wearing them but I didn't realize it. It took about 5 or 10 minutes an I no longer felt the dampness an my hands got comfortable again. Like any other Artic Shield item I recommend these gloves. Don't let the lite weight thinner than the older glove material deter you. Like me you'll be surprised at how well they work.

Warm / Quality - as advertised

These arrived on time and as advertised, warm / good quality. The packaging was superb and hopefully a reflection of the quality. I like to "two layer" system ... look forward to trying them. Note: these ArcticShield are warm so I also bought a lighter pair for just 50/60 F (both index / thumb fingers are exposed with velcro to afix when folded)

Best glove/mitt combo ever!

I got the first pair in our hunting group. Now everyone has a pair. We hunt Minnesota in the winter and need warmth and utility. The Arctic Shield gloves are awesome. They also slip into the handwarmer muff from Arctic Shield as well. I don't go in the field without them.

Decent

Decent, not amazing. The extra large size is quite large, especially on the inserts. This XLarge fits larger than Carhartt or Wells or Mechanix XLarge gloves do. I'd say these keep me decently warm in 30-40 F weather but were not enough when it gets below 20.

Best gloves. The only thing I don't like is that the magnet doesn't work well. But your hands will never be warmer

Nice gloves for the price. Only downfall is that the magnet for the flip open for the glove is kind of weak and doesn’t secure the flap 100% of the time.
