EASY-TO-READ ACROSS THE ROOM!
This is the one I need. Temp & Humidity reading is accurate and very-readable across the room. Makes it one less hassle.

Humidity
This thing does not read humidity from the probe, it only reads humidity where ever the device is. The probe only reads temperature. Thus the In/Out function is only good for reading temperature anf not humidity.

it does the job !
I use the eco-plus Digital thermometer and hygrometer to control environment to hand raise cockatiel. It does the job ! it is easy and accurate. just what I needed.

Get something else
I ordered two of these to keep the temperatures in my tents in check. Later on I upgraded and purchased a environment controller (Sentinel CHHC-1, all within a 4 month period). Lo and behold, the EcoPlus was reading 10 degrees cooler than the environmental controller. To test both units I purchased an aquarium thermometer and hung it next to the other two thermometers. The aquarium and $700 environment controller read the same. For over 4 months my garden was 10 degrees hotter than I thought, stressing and being in horrible conditions, all because I trusted this thermometer. Never again. To those who REALLY care about their gardens and the fruits of their labor, do not purchase this, instead opt for a better solution, possibly something non electronic for $$ or an environmental controller for $$$. Pro: It has big numbers It is a great $25 paper weight Cons: Doesn't accurately read temperatures....enough said.

Reliable accurate and easy to read but slow to change when moved suddenly.
I have two of these and need another. I have many friends working professionally in high places who love these displays for job performance because it is absolutely critical to be exact. They seem very accurate as I can switch their usual locations and get identical results ... eventually. It does take a while to let the numbers change slowly in .1 degree increments until reaching the same temperature the other meter did at that location. I tested my two again by placing them on top of my quality home thermostat and both read within one degree of my home thermostat ... eventually. These are not for impatient people and do work well ... eventually. There may be better options out there and I have not tried any others for my new hobby so look round if you want. However mine are perfectly accurate and these displays are very easy to read large displays for the avid temperature enthusiast. I have not tried the sensor wire probe to evaluate it but these are very easy to read. I have had these for a year and a half and they still work flawlessly. I just need another.

I thought this was the model with the probe on it. My mistake. It cost $15 and $10 to send back. Do the math. Lol .
