Best $180.00 I've ever spent

First, thanks to Tammy for her detailed review about using it at a 45 degree angle instead of mounting it to the ceiling. That swayed me to buy this. My wife loves it and raves about it every day. She no longer cares about getting a hot tub. Yes, it's that good. Don't understand the negative complaints at all. We're thrilled with it.

Buy it. Seriously.

After trying and returning 14 (yes 14!) other shower heads from amazon, I have finally found the perfect one. My fiancé refuses to let me change out the shower arm or add an extension so we are using this on the typical short 45 degree bend, but it is fantastic nonetheless. We can’t use the broadest setting as the pressure is just too low with the angle, it falls straight down onto the tub faucet. BUT oh my god, the middle setting is absolute PERFECTION with plenty of coverage. It is just as broad as the many 8” shower heads we’ve tried and I don’t feel like we’re missing out without the broader setting at all. It is so soft and smooth, and rinses soap as quickly as if you dumped a bucket of water on yourself, even with the flow restrictor intact. The narrow setting is perfect for rinsing long hair quickly and has a lot of pressure (I say this as a shower head snob who gets annoyed if it takes longer than 90 seconds to rinse my hair), but it does not have the typical sting on your skin of other high pressure shower heads. Another key win- it must be using less water than others that are supposedly 2.5 gpm, because the water gets hotter and stays hot for longer compared to every other shower head I’ve tried. I was so frustrated in our new house that showers would get warm but not hot that I was about ready to call a plumber, but this shower head fixed that instantly! If you want a true rain head that also has plenty of pressure and prolongs hot water, this is it. I literally spent 3 months trying and returning shower heads and despite having 2 others to try from the same shipment as this one, I immediately sent them back and didn’t bother after using this once. It’s pure bliss and SO worth the price.

Just plastic

I originally thought it was 5 star... Then I see its just made of plastic. For the price charged, thats ridiculous. No big deal on the adjustment knob, just makes the water come out of less holes. Cant see why everyone thinks this is so wonderful??

I would buy this shower head again. I am using it with the restrictor in it. But I can see why you might want to take it out.

Waste of Money

This shower head was so wide that my glass shower door would bang into it. Water flow was poor. No water came through the outer zone of nozzles. In my opinion, it didn't look especially attractive. Components were plastic. Replaced with a smaller rain shower head from Amazon that was a fraction of the price, with better water pressure and performance, looks way better and my shower door doesn't bash against it. Hope I can sell this one online or at a yard sale. Pity.

Pressure was quite low

My water pressure isn’t the best but I thought this would work great based on the description and reviews. The water pressure from the shower head was so low that I ended up returning it and going back to my old shower head.

Excellent replacement rain shower head!

Bought this to replace and old one which we liked but which owed us nothing. This replacement rain shower head is excellent! Has 3 settings and the pressure is very good! I highly recommend this replacement rain shower head!

Lovely new shower head but expensive

Needed a new rain shower head as my previous cheaper one completely split! Decided to buy this one due to Grohe having a good reputation and also liked the idea of the 3 adjustable flow options. Shower head seems good quality and a handyman installed it in 5 minutes. Knob to adjust flow is easy to grip and turn with wet hands. It looks good. However, I do think Grohe products are very expensive compared with alternatives, so I hope the quality and durability justifies the cost.

Good. But a couple of surprises

Nice shower head. Love the three settings, however it's a bit bigger than I thought it was and as a result doesn't force the water to create as much pressure as my previous shower head. Also surprised at how plastic it felt (I was expecting it to be a metal shower head). I got it on a deal so paid a bit less for it which is why it's 4 stars for me. Would have been annoyed if I'd paid more than £100 for it which is what some of the prices for it I've seen have been.
