Wonderful Rainshower!

This showerhead really justifies the investment-grade price: --Design, materials, construction and finish are impeccable. --In use, it feels absolutely like you are showering in the rain. We attribute this to the combination of very effective aeration, which creates soft droplets, and the large area covered by the showerhead. A smaller head with the same aeration might have the soft droplets, but the total effect would not be the same. --The showerhead feels like it delivers a high volume of water, even though it's limited to 2.5 gpm. We thought flow would feel lower due to the large surface area yet have been pleasantly surprised by the sensation that we're getting a large volume of water. Again, likely a function of the aeration. We use a Grohe showerpipe system with adjustable flow and do not need to turn it to the max to get a satisfying volume of water. A couple of caveats: --If you prefer the feeling of a stream of water, this showerhead is likely not a good choice. --If you have ceiling lighting already in your shower, the showerhead may block some or all of the light. It's that large. Also, the mirror-like finish of the top surface will reflect light back on to your ceiling. If you are building a shower with lighting and plan to use this head, double-check the positioning of your light(s) relative to position of the showerhead before you rough in the wiring.

Looks Beautiful

Looks beautiful. Works great. Only small issue is that it drips for a few minutes after being turned off.

Similar to mist... not rain

This shower head looks great but very disappointed with water flow. My building has great water pressure and I even removed the flow restrictor but water flow effect is light and airy. It has airflow intake at center and with this covered the hissing from air flow stops (quiet is better) but no improvement on increasing water flow. Contacted HansGrohe asking if green nipples could be removed and they advised not possible. If your looking for very light water this one is perfect. If your after stronger rain or light water-fall feel keep looking. Fortunantly we have handheld shower which works well but wasted so much money on this and not able to return once used. Looks great but would be happy if flow rate was adjustable. If considering a rain shower head it would be best to stop in good plumbing store where they have working units on display....wish I did.

...Like standing under a waterfall...

This product is wonderful, so far. Ordered this 6/2016 for a small washroom project. I was originally using a cheapy plastic Waterpik rainshower head from home depot. It's a little high end but you get what you pay for. The chrome look is very nice as well. Pros: - If you are looking for a waterfall / rain shower effect, this is the one you need. - Feeling of standing right underneath a rainshower. - Feeling of freshness after bathing. - Large diameter covers a large area. - Ideally can be used as a ceiling mount, I've used this with a the Hansgrohe 27413001 Shower Arm, 15-Inch in Polished Chrome (a bit expensive, but strong enough to ear the weight of this shower head). - Very sturdy design. Cons: - Pricey - No adjustable shower spray modes - Needs adequate water pressure to work effectively.

Instant relaxation

Anytime I use my rain shower head it takes my whole stress level down. The water has volume yet feels so soft coming out of this shower head . I love it. It's the perfect rain shower to get caught in.

Faulty

May I please reqorder and request for discount. it is weird that it is broken. We flew the itme to the philippines and not feasible to return back to amazon. what should we do? i plan to order but this is already a loss. how can i get discount....

Awesome shower head

Awesome shower head! The first one was defective and water was leaking around the adjustable neck. Amazon sent out a replacement right away and it became in two days. It took me about 5 minutes to install it. As others have stated, it has a very substantial mass to it. I mated it to a Kohler shower pipe and it looked great. I left the flow restrictor in and tested the showerhead. With the restrictor in, it feels like a gentle rainfall over my head and I love it. I have always been impressed by the Hansgrohe fixtures and this one is another winner.

Looks good, works even better.

In the past 10 years, we've tried 7 (yes SEVEN) different rain showerheads. We purchased this one 4 years ago and it's still in our shower. Simply one of (if not the) best rain shower head on the market. Not much else to say, except what it provides is a real rain shower experience. Great flow, great droplets, and looks great too. Of course being from Hansgrohe it's extremely well built too.

Awesome rainshower. The feeling of the water droplets is much better than my previous Baril rainshower. It is not cheap but the quality of manufacturing and mechanism worth the price.

Excellent value for money

Excellent value for money. Provides an awesome shower experience. I was considering the smaller 7" raindance and I am so glad I opted for this 11" model as it is definitely worth the extra money.
