just what you need
I have been using the very same product now for 20 years. these drills may not be the top of the line bits, but I have used them on stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze and other softer projects. I have also purchased the top of the line drill bits and I no longer have them due to breakage and other mis-haps that make drill bits "disapear". for the price, I don't think you could buy a better set....( if you actually need all the sizes this set has),but you will always have......JUST WHAT YOU NEED!

Not a bad set. Some bits were not straight. For a job site backup set, these are ok. I would not recommend these for precision mill work.

Low Cost, Only good for light use with a Good Case
Others didn't like these, and yes they are inexpensive bits. Overall cost to benefit ratio of these bits is very high, just don't expect too much for 50 cents a bit. You shouldn't try and do a lot of machining and difficult to machine materials. I have a CNC machine with many high quality, custom tools, but I found this a useful, cost effective addition to the set for light work with plastic, aluminum and easy to machine steels. Also, I have a bit sharpener, which also makes these more useful to me than other people. You can't expect these to stay sharp without proper maintenance. Having paid as much as 40 dollars a bit for mid grade quality tooling, you shouldn't expect to be able to drill 1000 holes with the same bit from this set without ever sharpening. PROs: The bits are good for the price. I have owned many sets like this, but this is the first one where the case was properly made by the chinese to fit the bits so they don't fall out. Every bits stays in its place when you open it, which was the biggest improvement over many other 115 bit sets I have owned in my days. Cons: Not recommended for heavy users, but great for having around in the shop for general purpose, light use. I'm not surprised if you happen to get 1 bit that is the wrong size, as someone complained about. The guy in china just put the wrong one in. Honestly, if you want a specific size for high use applications, you should go to a real tooling vendor or at least buy a bunch of the same.

Questionable Quality
When the drill case was opened the number drills were scattered all over the inside of the case. I spent almost an hour checking the diameter of each bit so that is could be returned to holder. During the checking, found several of the sizes between 42 and 60 could not be distinguished from size from another using calibrated micrometer and vernier. Duplicates or poor quality????? The rack holding the numbered bits was not attached to the case lid. Bases on the dimensions of the rack and the case lid, the machine screws provided were too short. Bit angle to spec so I assume they will cut the material for which they are intended. The casing is poor quality and very bad design and the racks do not open far enough to see the bit size. Case design needs to be reviewed and the quality of manufacture must be up-grade. That little voice told me the price was to good to be true.

decent drill bit set any size you would need but go ahead and spend a bit more and get a better set there are several bits that are not sharp at all i like it but this is now the set that i consider throw away bits if someone wants to borrow a drill bit this is the on i let them use

not that i didn't realize automatically the severe poor quality right away from the external glance of this piece of junk, but when i opened it I had a quick laugh, and then realized I had to go thru a refund process! This is at the extreme bottom of the rung junk, if I could give it zero stars I would. Here's my beefs [1.]the package was open before i received it (not the amazon box) the box containing the index box... it gets better [2.] the index box itself was busted, none of the individual sections were functioning at all, jammed up (supposed to open left and right) uh uh didn't happen cause they are held together by tiny screws and nuts, binded up and didn't extend 1/3 of the distance they should, just garbage. [3.] the latch didn't line up to lock the box.[4.] and most importantly, remember I said the box was open before I received it... well explain this one - 115 drill bits- right- i found two (v) drill bits in the box--> one in the "V" slot and one in the "Z" slot- how did that happen? NO Z!!!!!!!!!!! Bottom Line - cut your own throat by getting this piece of junk! for $65 it should be at least half decent, drill ONE hole, didn't get that far! What a joke!

Mixed Bag
Purchased these a few months back to have a complete set of bits. I've only used maybe a dozen of them thus far. Good - Good selection and value - Most of the bits are sharp and durable - Great case Bad - Some are only partially or not hardened at all. One bit collapsed immediately when drilling into galvanized steel. A second warped very quickly but still managed a few holes (very slowly) then the third I tried went through it like butter.

Realistic Quality VS Proper Use
These drill bits are High Speed Steel and will dull/break if not used properly. If you use these bits with a drill press operating at the correct speed (considering both material hardness and bit size) and proper lubrication, then you will find these are well worth the price. As a Millwright, I needed the letter/number set for correct tap operations and was very happy to receive this set so quickly.

En esta ocasión lo barato sale caro, muchas brocas estan mal fabricadas.
El producto llego en tiempo y forma, pero muchas brocas, al menos la mitad, están mal afiladas, casi manualmente, alguna brocas están chuecas, solo les colocaron el recubrimiento muy superficialmente a las bronca retrabajadas. la verdad el producto no lo recomiendo.

decent box, looks pretty, bits are ok just not great.
work well for light work but not to be trusted for drilling on center for machining operations. definitely requires a sharpen before use and a quick check with a dial if it has to be on within +/-.010 " or .25mm..

Excellent quality drill set!
Fantastic set. It’s not often where you buy something at a good price with not the greatest reviews and are completely blown away. Perfect out of the box, bits look great, box is solid!
