Good version of this type of hydration system.
Not sure how to write this review. This product is excellent for what it was designed to do. It is durable, has nice features, is easy to clean and use. What I don't like is how much effort it takes to get a large quantity of water out of it. It seems this type of hydration system works best for biking or backpacking, when you just need the equivalent of a few swigs on a constant, consistent interval while moving. I was using it in a backpack at a work site, where the backpack was stored in one spot while we worked in the heat until we stopped for a break, at which time I was really thirsty and wanted to guzzle a quart or so at once. This product is a poor choice for that. I had to suck on the hose until my jaws hurt. So, that's probably more my problem than the product's problem. I bought this for the capacity, packability, and cleanability, but it just did not suit my purpose very well.

One small design flaw
I’ve use this a handful times and so far it has served me well. There’s one small design flaw on the bite valve. The plastic piece that opens and closes the vent snapped off. It can be pushed closed from the top although now that it’s broken, the only way to open it again after it’s fully closed is to use something thin and strong like a knife to wedge it open.

Reservoir good. Water flow not so much
Previous reviews accurately reflect the quality of this product. Previous reviews also mention the water flow is not the best. The water flow is poor enough that I will need to get a different brand for my cycling.

Great for hiking!
Took this on hikes through a national park for about 5 days. The taste of plastic never really went away but if you fill the bladder with cold water you won’t notice the taste as much. I purchased the bite valve cap separately and that was a good investment. Don’t understand why it doesn’t just come with the bladder. Whenever you put you backpack down you won’t need to worry if your mouthpiece is going to touch the ground or anything else dirty. So if you buy this bladder, buy the cap too! The only time the bladder leaked a little was because I screwed the main bladder cap on at an angle that wasn’t completely flush with the opening. Just screw that straight on and there shouldn’t be leaking.

Great bladder but flow is a little slow
I'm impressed with this bladder, and like its rigidity and filling system. The mouthpiece doesn't let water flow as quickly as I'd like (it's slower than other bladders I've used in the past). Other than that, I'd highly recommend this.

Awesome Customer Service.
This is a gift for a family member. It is exactly what he wanted. The package is sealed form the company and in perfect condition. Very quick delivery from Outland USA. Thank you for the note enclosed with your receipt!

Seems great, love the shape
I've only used this for a few weeks so far so I can't speak for durability. The junction between the hose which is connected to the bladder, and the hose which runs to the sipping end, seems like it could come apart accidentally. It doesn't seem to click or lock in. Other than that everything seems very sturdy. The shape makes it easy to fill from a squeeze filter, and easy to dry out thoroughly when you get home. After the first day or so I didn't notice any negative taste.

You get what you pay for
Thick material, well engineered cap and tight seal, removable hose for cleaning, drys well . If you are even looking at these hydration systems in general, you know you need/want one. I did a fair bit of research, watched videos, read reviews. This is double the price of the cheapest, but I trust it to hold water, be clean, function smoothly. I wouldn't cheap out on the most critical piece of gear for a hiker.

Well made, thoughtful deesign
This is my first hydration bladder. I compared it with a camelback brand and ended up keeping this one. I'm very pleased with it, and would recommend the purchase. Overall the quality and materials are excellent and should last a long time. It's easy to fill with the handle. It's easy to clean and the 3d design really helps to get it properly dry. I like that the tube detaches - it's convenient for both setup and cleaning. Their magnet is genius, (it's the simple things in life, right?) - it's easy to attach and detach and the valve from the magnet, but it is also not going anywhere no matter what. They got that part perfect, and when you get it set up just right with your pack, it's really great. The only thing that I didn't like is the suction required to get water when the bladder is closer to empty, but I imagine that might be a universal issue when you are a bit out of breath! I had the same issue with the camelback one. I was able to extend the hose downward and provide some water for my dog with a bit of suction to get it started, so water does come out... just slowly. It helps to bite down a bit more. I'm definitely figuring it out. The silicone around the bite valve is comfortable and good quality, but does tend to attract hair and dust. I haven't had an issue with that during hikes at all, but I do notice it usually needs a rinse before I get started. It's sometimes hard to open and close the valve. I've just left it open by default and closed it before I take my pack off so I don't end up with a sprinkler. It hasn't leaked, no matter what I've done with it (I've thrown my pack around quite a bit).

Leaked after two hikes
This water bladder started leaking from the handle after just two hikes. I'm not impressed. Additionally, there is no cover for the mouth piece, which is a total design flaw. When you're hiking and you put your backpack down the mouth piece is exposed to the dirt/ground. I wouldn't recommend this product.
