Camelbak products never disappoint
Bought this for an event and it held plenty of water to keep me hydrated throughout the day. No nasty plastic taste, easy to fill and clean and worth every penny.

Amazed
I got a chance to mess around with this today and although water in it plain is... rubbery tasting, I assumed it would be but it’s not bad at ALL and a bit of liquid IV and I would never know there was any other taste! The tube is way better than my other bladder and it has thicker rubber on the body of it than my other one too! It did upset my stomach for like 10 mins after chugging a liter out of it but I mean... that’s my one fault I think... I am quite happy with this tho!!

Very nice Camelbak bladder, solid construction, can hold a lot of water
Great Camelbak bladder. Much sturdier plastic and construction than the non-mil spec bladders. The 70oz holds quite a lot of water. It fits perfect in my small Dakine backpack and fills the entire backpack. It does the job. I originally bought a 50oz. bladder which I returned because it had a hole in it; at the time it the 50oz seemed quite small but that would have been enough for me. The insulated hose is long enough to pull all the way across my body even when hooked up to the bladder and routed through the backpack. The hose is easy to push back into the backpack because of the insulated sleeve. When full it adds too much weight for me, so I fill it about 1/2 full and it still holds enough water to last an entire day on the slopes. It disassembles into three pieces - the bladder, the hose, and the mouthpiece. This is very useful when cleaning and drying out the separate pieces. HOWEVER, the bladder is seamed in two places and the seams are almost the entire height of the bladder (from just below the fill opening to the bottom of the bladder), so it's not just one big bag that holds water. This is great for sturdiness, but not so great for drying out. When drying out the bladder, the different 'compartments' on the inside of the bladder collapse and do not stay open because there is not much space between the compartments/seams. This will cause it to mildew quickly and it's near impossible to get your hands/fingers into the compartments to quickly dry them out. Can't get my hand through the fill opening for drying, but it is nice and large and very functional for its intended purpose - filling with water. So when drying the bladder out I usually put some paper towels or the actual insulated hose inside the bladder and that keeps the bladder and its compartments open. After a few hours of snowboarding in below freezing temps in the Rockies and the hose still froze, which was kind of expected. If kept in good shape it will last a long time.

Near identical replacement for old rogue camelbaks… an improvement!
I was looking for a replacement bladder and mouth piece for my old rogue camelbak and found this! The flap that covers the bottom handle thing fits perfectly, and this replacement was actually an improvement compared to the old pouch setup because of the quick release attachments, as well as the cover for the mouthpiece which keeps it clean. I also like that the tube is covered/insulated with neoprene (I think) and has a soft feel to it. I think that color of this complements the black rogue camelback, so I guess that’s an added bonus if you like this color :)

Great product! Needs minor adjustment
I have two of these. I have used CamelBak products for years. I did find a design flaw with this product though. The hook for holding the CamelBak in place in your pack was the flaw and why they both leaked. When hooked in anyone of my packs they leaked. The hook isn’t made of a sturdy enough plastic to hold the weight of the CamelBak when full. It actually pulls the screw on cap away from the female end of the cap creating a leak. If you place the CamelBak in your pack without the hook holder holding it, it will not leak. Should CamelBak fix this issue yes they need to 100%. I’m glad I found the issue, as it is annoying to have water dripping out of the bottom of your pack getting you wet. Especially in colder climates on trips. I still use these though. I just don’t hook the pack, it just lays in my back. I hope this is helpful. CamelBak does make great products. Just this issue needs to be rectified.

Great for paintball
Bought this for paintball and it helped tremendously. Holds a good amount of water easy to fill and I like that there is an on and off valve built into the straw. It comes apart to help clean and dry and makes it easier to replace a part if something were to ge damaged. It does have a typical "vinyl" taste but it goes away after a few uses (also why you should wash before use) overall great product. Only complaint would be it needs something to prop it open when drying. ( I use an old pill bottle)

Good
This product is what it is supposed to do. The product. Did not give me diarrhea.

The best bladder Camelback sells.
I was hesitant to buy this at first, because I thought the bladder was opaque, but it's not. There is also a partial divider inside whish keeps the shape of the bladder when filled. The hose has a quick release where it clips onto the bladder, (This is new to me) which makes cleaning the hose easy to clean. I have the 70 oz. for kayaking, and am already thinking of getting the 100 oz. for cycling. Great but, highly recommend.

Water tastes awful
I thought buying the best was safest. This very expensive reservoir is hugely disappointing, despite rigorous cleaning and rinsing before use, the water tasted of rubber and plastic, so much so that I couldn't drink from it.

The Quality is Obvious!
I bought this for my wife who is undertaking a multi-day hiking trek in a few months. We have had a few other cheap hydration packs and this Camelbak is vastly superior. For starters, the construction looks and feels strong and durable. The quarter turn reservoir opening cap is easy to operate and fill. The insulated tube and mouthpiece (with cover] are sturdy and drip free. I kind of wish I had bought it for myself rather than my wife! As always it pays to watch this item for a while to get a good price. I paid a tad under $40 and believe that is probably a good price for this quality item.

Mil-Spec is the way to go - works perfect with the 5.11 Rush 12
Exactly what I wanted. The Mil-Spec version is the way to go - works perfect with the 5.11 Rush 12 (I wouldnt go any bigger than this 2L). Although sometimes a little prone to popping off, the mouthpiece cover is a great addition to keep the bite valve dirt free the way I have the hose rigged up following the shoulder strap of the backpack. The cap can be a little finicky but I have had no problems with leakage and the ability to tighten to full lock with one hand is super useful in comparison to a much older camelbak I had which was a more traditional screw on cap.

so the risk was too great to have one that might leak
Having used this on several long hikes at this point, I can say it's worth every dollar I spent. I usually use mine in a camera backpack, so the risk was too great to have one that might leak. Made with quality rugged materials, and an insulated water tube. In additional to the snap-on cap, the nozzle also has a quick on-off water lever which I was not aware of when I purchased. Love it!

Sodbrennen induzierende Trinkblase
