This A SINGLE STRAP, NOT A PAIR! Reflective strip is not long enough to be seen on both sides of your leg. BUYER BEWARE!

Just received my SINGLE Green Guru Ankle Strap. Notice that I have said Strap as in Single. Under the description it states as the following - "The ultimate in ankle straps" Notice the word STRAPS! Had I realized this, I would have not bought this product. Last I looked, people come with 2 legs. Now for the review - Strap is made well with a good Velcro bond. The reflective strip is just 4 inches. You'll have to decide if you need people to see you in either the rear or in the front only, not both. The reflective strip should be longer. There is a 7 inch gap without a reflective strip. Had they done this, this would have given you protection from the front, back and the side. I can not recommend this product. I bought it because it was a green product made in the USA. On top of all this I bought this with two other products. When I purchased it, I requested free shipping. Amazon split shipped my purchase and charged me $6.58 for the privilege of shipping it to me. I feel I've been taken advantage of on multiple levels.

Does Not Come as a Pair!

I bought this item, not unreasonably assuming it would come as a pair (most people - particularly cyclists - having two ankles and all), so now have to order another one. Green Guru, you may want to make it abundantly clear that you only sell these as singles, as shipping from the US to my home in New Zealand does not come cheap. However having said that, a quality product - good durable material & fits my ankles perfectly, ought to last a good few years.

Great wide strap as indicated

Great wide strap as indicated, shame the reflective band is only on one side (the 'back'). If the reflective band was around the whole strap it would make for even easier functionality, meaning you wouldn't have to pay attention as to where the front or back of the band is while strapping on. Either way, nice product with good velcro!

Keep Your Trouser Leg Clean

I use this when I cycle commute to work. This pins your trousers close to you leg so that you will not brush against the oily chain. The strap also has reflective material, so that cars will see the movement. Recommended.

It is big.

This is a really large strap. Way too big for a skinny guy like me. A large part of it sticks out when tightened around my leg defeating the idea of not having loose stuff dangling near your chainring. Otherwise cool looking and made of recycled inner tubes which is nice.

Does its job.

Works as it should. Keeps my pants from getting snagged in the chain ring. I haven't had any issues with it slipping down off of my pants. The tag that it has on it will snag itself on the chain ring occasionally. Easy fix though. Just flip the strap and the tag will stick out on the opposite side.
