Different, which was cool
Good and diverse stack of word cards in this boxed game. Everything was made well and of quality, no funny odors or glue issues. Printing was good, etc. All of the pieces stated are in the box. Box is sturdy. We did find one typo on a card, not sure if there are more but we haven't found more. I specifically picked this game to support our intention to acknowledge and hone in our intuition as a couple. But the box is pretty cool so that's a bonus. :-) I often get games for more than two players (and simplify or adapt how we play), and because there are only two of us playing, I can't personally know what it is like to play with more players, the intended way. We tried the matching thing but that didn't work because we have opposite thinking brains. (If you have someone you think like it could be really fun!) The method doesn't measure intuition as much as it measures "same thinking". What we ended up doing was holding cards, word facing the holder, while the other person got a "read" on the word on the card. Doing this was interesting for a while but got a bit redundant. Sometimes this game is slightly frustrating, sometimes it's awkward and sometimes it's hilarious when you flip two cards depending upon how they might relate and how they may create an image in the mind. Sometimes, but rarely, the combos seem sexual but the game is not designed to be sexual in nature, I just felt a need to mention that possibility. The game is based on random words. All in all I imagine it could be fun played in a group and it's really refreshing to find a less traditional game. I am glad I purchased this. We have had it a couple and played it several times in that span. It breaks the monotony of playing the game Sorry every night.

Medium = Middle
Super fun party game. The artwork is super cool and the boxes vibrant. It even comes with dividers to keep your cards separate. Fairly simple to learn and is good for big groups. Basically the point of this game is you both have a word in your hand. Personal A down a card with a word. Person B looks at the card that A laid down and they put down a card do they think they can connect with. then both of you stare intimately into each other's eyes and try to envision what that other person is going to be thinking. then you guys try to guess the same middle word that would connect those two words. If you get it wrong you use those two words that you guys guests as the next said that you guys tried to guess off of. Person A: Burn Person B: Trees If you both are thinking of a firefighter then you get a token with either a five or six on it. If person A thinks the best word in-between it would be firefighter, but person B thanks the perfect middle word would be fire. Then you both are wrong. You would then lose the cards and go off of the words you guessed: Person A: firefighter Person B: Fire If you both now think the middle word between these two words would be hot then you would get a three or four token. If you had any both set a different word: Person A: Hot Person B: Water Then you would have one more shot to get it right or you pass to the next team. Person A: Boil Person B: Boil but if you do get it right on your third try then you get a token that is either worth one or two. and you keep going around until 3 crystal balls show up what you had put into the pile in the beginning but you can read into that if you get the game.

Love this short and sweet game!
Huge board game family but i wanted something for my partner and I! This game has quickly become a fan favorite and two of the friends I’ve played with have bought it themselves. So quick and easy to learn, and doesn’t take too much to move through the game! Might be a little harder if you struggle to see the big picture or have neurodivergence!

Fun times and brain exercises :)
Game: you and the person next to you put down a card each and then individually come up with a word that describes each. Then 3-2-1, say your words and hope they match. If not, do the same thing for the words you just said. Try one more time if needed and then move on to the next two people. Example: cards “breakfast” and “sweet”. Guesses “orange” and “banana”. Next guess both people guess “fruit” and get a point. Most are a little harder than that, plus if someone had said “cinnamon roll” and you had to match it with “banana” that’s harder. No repeating words and the earlier you guess right, the more points you get. Anyway, I thought it was lots of fun. I think there are additional rules you can play with, but I haven’t yet.

Fun game with 4 and also fun with more if you play with variant
Fun game with 4 and also fun with more if you play with variant where the Mediums opposite each other each start so that there are always 2 sets of cards being played at a time. Yet another word association games and it's quite fun. You play one of the word cards from your hand, the next player plays another and then on the count of 3 you both say a word that connects the two, trying to match each other. If you fail, you do it again, but this time trying to connect the two words you just said rather than the words on the cards. If that fails too, you have one last chance, but the points on offer diminish each time. It is a fun party game if you don't take it too seriously and it is just light hearted fun. We have had the most fun with 4 and with 8 playing 2 sets of cards at a time so there is much less down time. We enjoy it but it won't be for everyone.

Great game. Gets a bit getting used too though
It's a great game. At first I thought I wasn't going to like it because of how you have to think of something right away and say it. But after playing it for 30 mins, I got the hang of it and won the game two times so it's a great game.

Easy to learn, great fun for groups
Finding a game that's playable and engaging for a larger group as well as a smaller one is a challenge but Medium fits the bill. It has minimal setup and it is very easy to explain to new players so you won't struggle to get your friends/family into it. It's also great to spectate and discuss the 'obvious' answers quietly whilst you watch other players struggle. Definitely a reliable favourite.

The games rules are very easy to understand and gameplay is easy. This game was so much fun I played it 3 times over the weekend. It's a great game to play a quick round of if you are short on time. Would recommend!

Fantastic Game
This game is so much fun with friends - and much harder than you would think! Whoever designed the packaging for this game poured a lot of love into it, because everything can be neatly organized inside once opened.
