Right size grater!

My grater that I used at the table for fresh parmesan or other cheese broke (after years of use) so went looking for a replacement that had a medium grater. This one is metal so I'm expecting it to last long enough to be included in an estate sale when I'm no longer here????.

I love this grater. I have used it for cheese, lemons, ginger, etc. and it works great every time. It is easy to hold and doesn’t slip out of my hand. It is also very easy to clean. I also really like that it doesn’t take up much space!

For harder cheeses.

I'm being picky here giving this just a four. The reason is because I more often need the larger holes for softer cheeses, although I often need this size for pecorino, etc. I have an OXO four sided grater I normally use, but I need this for backup (although I apparently need 2 - one with larger holes). Still comfortable, easy to use, and easy to throw in the dishwasher. Great tool.

The perfect grater to grate cheese on top of your plate!

We've owned all kinds of cheese graters in the past and the ones that had stuck the most have been those large block graters. Why? Because the experience we had from the small single sided ones like this one had been bad. We had probably been cheap by buying either plastic structured ones from Walmart but after bending a few of those we gave up. It became an afterthought and after all we accepted that we had to wash that huge block thing inside and out after grating some cheese in our pasta, or soup or whatever until i saw this one coming up on my suggestions. OXO has been a great utensil brand and they last for a long time compared to cheaper alternatives, while still being pretty affordable, and it wasn't different this time. The grater is SHARP, sturdy, looks modern and the guard is easy to wash, put on and off, these isn't much more to say it other than that this is EXACTLY what we've been looking for. It feels that it'll last, and being a solid piece of steel with just slight care, i see no reason why we'd replace this in the next few years, and at $16, it'll probably be replaced with another OXO steel grater, we love this thing and would recommend it to anyone grating cheese, or roots or anything fine to their foods or any other application where you're prefer to keep it clean and practical.

Impressive quality and seems made to last

This is the best quality grater i've ever owned. It has a good heavy weight to it. It's easy to clean. It works very well and gets the job done. For the price, this is excellent quality!

A Long-lasting Grater for Years of Fluffy Cheese

Unboxing: 5/5 Great unboxing, comes attached a branded OXO backing, is wrapped in plastic, and includes a hard plastic guard on the grater to maintain its sharpness. Looks: 5/5 This does not look cheap at all, the steel material shines bright and looks amazing - overall it’s a very sleek kitchen tool. Quality / Durability: 5/5 It seems of great quality, it doesn’t bend easily, and the sharpness is maintained really well after many uses. It also won’t rust, and the guard and bar at the top protects it very well for long-term use. Function: 5/5 I use this grater mainly for cheese, but you can also use it for zest. In terms of cheese, if you have large blocks of fresh cheese and want to quickly put some on some pasta, this is definitely the easiest way. I prefer these types of graters over the large cubic ones, they’re much sharper and much easier to use. Value (for the listed price): 5/5 Overall: 5/5

Finally a sturdy grater

I was fed up of plastic edged graters breaking after a few dishwasher lads. This one is solid, grates lovely and is easy to clean.

HERMOSO Y FUNCIONAL

Nos encantó, tiene una vista espectacular y además es bastante funcional, cabe recalcar que definitivamente es para quesos más secos, chocolate y tal vez ralladuras de cítricos.
