Warranty

I Love my Rooster, by unfortunately about a month ago under a windy day, the piece fall apart, can you please advice if the product is under warranty? the product is within one year of purchase. best regards

Not great quality

I guess I had a different image of a weathervane, my old one was solid brass and 100 years old and I wanted to reuse it. The old cupola was shot so I bought a Good Directions 36" cupola but my old weathervane had a larger gauge post than what fit the cupola, so when the time came for the contractor to to install it (after a new roof), I just ordered this because I knew it would fit the Good Directions system. (On the cupola, the cypress wood was fine, but the plywood base is cheap and buckling. See image.) From the ground it looks good, but up close the weathervane is cheap stamped thin copper sheet, like those trying-to-look-classic chandeliers you see in bad home centers. I actually had to bend everything straight (bent in shipping) to put it up. Note that I'm talking about the rooster and arrow; the lower vane part is a good solid metal. I found a place that will clean and polish my old brass weathervane, and fit an extension rod to it for the new cupola (again, the 11 inch extension rod [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00348KDXO] I bought worked with the Good Directions system but was too thin for the old weathervane). Then I'll pay the guy to come back and retrofit it. But it's good for now.

True color was not shown on featured image

It's nice but it is not what the picture portrayed. I was expecting a silver finish weathervane and a dull/rustic weathervane arrived instead. I'm not sure why they had a silver finish or gold tone to choose from- you don't get the silver and I didn't want gold tone.

I really like the way it looks mounted on the trellis structure over our hot tub. The tail was a bit thin and was bent a little but it was easily fixed. It's only been up two days and we haven't had any wind. I can hardly wait to see it moving when the wind picks up. I give it a thumbs up. :)

Good Weathervane

The weathervane is well made, and arrived in good packaging so nothing was damaged or missing. I ordered a mount with it, and put it up in the middle of my carport roof - no problems with the mount or putting everything together. You will need silicone caulk to seal the holes where the mount screws to the roof, and some thread sealant where a threaded rod screws into the base. The vane itself looks good, and moves to indicate the direction of even a light wind. I find the size to be just right.

Great Looking

I had bought this Weathervane for my husband and he was very satisfied with the quality and looks. We had put it up on the garage roof and it looks great up there. I do recommend this product, thank-you.
