On par with Olaplex
Is it the same as Olaplex? No, it's different. But it is the most restorative product I've ever used other that Olaplex! It's not just another heavy conditioner. It actually did turn my desperately dry, brittle hair soft and manageable, and not just because it's moisturizing. It really did change my hair. And fast! After one short treatment session in the shower, my hair was 80-90% improved.

Softens hair, but best with the bond builder treatment
I have tried a LOT of products for my fine, thick, dry 2C/3A curly/wavy hair (with some damage from high/lowlights and frequent exposure to chlorine). This is one of the better ones for softening and restoring moisture to my hair. I swim laps, so I need something that restores moisture and neutralizes the chlorine smell, and this works well for both. It's a small container and it takes quite a bit for me to get it through my hair enough to detangle (about a half-dollar sized amount), so it's not very cost-effective, but it does give results. I wasn't blown away by them, though, until I combined it with the bond-building leave-in treatment; that combo makes my hair feel so soft and silky, and makes my frayed ends look so much smoother (I was in need of a haircut lol). It takes less of the treatment (about a quarter-sized amount) to do the job when followed with a dime-sized amount of the leave-in, making it less expensive overall per use. This is a good treatment that, when combined with the leave-in, becomes a pretty great one. I would order it again, but only in combination with the leave-in (which, fwiw, is also great on dry hair to soften and smooth the ends). Just as a note, I am not generally inclined to using a "line" of products--I prefer to mix and match and find what works for me, but this is an exception--this line works well together IMO.

Great for Curls
12.26.21~ Got this bc I fell In-Love-Head Over-Heels with the spray. Goldwell makes a bonding spray you use like a leave-in. A few spritzes and my bad haircut blows out straight & flowy. However, this conditioner is a bird of another feather. This does not give the straight power the spray does. But what it does do is~ Gives bouncy, frizz-free Gorgeous Waves. All I did was use this & a leave in. (used ABC Hydrate & Redken separately) Did air dry, scrunch dry with a diffuser and slept in it damp. All 3 gave me the best, low maintenance curls. With & Without silicone leave-ins. I'm sure you're going to ask, "Did I use it with the spray?" Yes I did. For my pile of lots yet thinning hair, it was too much. By day 2, it was too heavy on my hair & made it flat. Curls & Straight. Now I won't use this all the time bc the silicone & I color. It is my go-to for Holiday Hair when I need a guaranteed to look good. Hope that helps & May you all have a Good Hair Day.

Excellent for damaged hair
I'm so impressed with Goldwell's Bond Pro line. My hair is naturally wavy, fine and color-treated. Some rash color decisions post lockdown have left my hair pretty damaged. My hair is prone to breakage and usually looks quite dry, no matter how much moisture or protein I try to balance it out with. This bond repair treatment is the solution I didn't know I needed. It leaves my hair feeling soft and looking shiny and healthy. Regular use also seems to be restoring my wave pattern somewhat to especially damaged spots. My ends aren't as dry and break-y. Really impressive, overall, actually. If I had one minor quibble, it would be the same that I have with most treatment masks: not enough slip. Because of my hair's texture, the only time I brush it is in the shower. That's when I detangle and how I distribute products like this evenly. I will say this is better than most, as far as slip goes. But I still need a little bit more. Luckily, I also have the Bond Pro conditioner, so I just add a little of that on top. Together, they work great. Honestly, the products I've tried from this line have all been fantastic. My hair is so much better for having found this and other products from this Bond Pro line. Highly recommend.

Didn't notice a difference
I recognize the name, but I have to say that after using the whole tub regularly, I just haven't noticed any benefit to it. There has been no difference, and my hair looks the same. It smells great, but it hasn't really worked that well for me.

Amazing for bleached hair
This was amazing on my bleached hair. It really coated each strand and made them feel stronger softer and healthier over all. My hair really soaked this in and had so much slip. The result was shiny healthy looking hair without being weighed down. Will purchase again and highly recommend.

Excellent treatment for fragile hair
I am IN LOVE with this Goldwell Bond Pro 60 second treatment. It’s the easiest thing to use, and so quick! But it makes your hair look like a million bucks in no time at all, and it helps fine, fragile, damaged hair look super amazing. I used it right after highlighting my hair, and it made my fine, thin, just highlighted strands look like spun gold. I hadn’t even done the trim that my hair desperately needed yet, but you couldn’t tell that I had split ends after I used this treatment on my hair! And even though I have fine, thin hair, this still left my hair nice and bouncy afterwards; I don’t always have the best luck with hair masks, but this one gets five stars ⭐️ ++++ and beyond from me! It’s a definite winner. Highly, highly recommend!

Not for all hair types
This product was not for me. I have bleached hair in reasonable condition and this made my ends frizzy. I realise that it may be good for strengthening as it's for weak hair but my hair type is strong and dry. A little disappointing after paying so much for it, having used Goldwell products before I was expecting great things.
