Very effective muscle massager

This is a fabulous massager for your money. I have very tight like muscles probably from lack of exercise. I get a lot of cramping and tenderness in my legs. My chiropractor used something similar on me so of course I went to Amazon to find something to use at home. I purchased another one that the roller was hard plastic. It wasn't effective and didn't really get into the muscles. I returned it and went back and looked for one that was made of more of a rubber product and this one got great reviews. I was very happy when I received it and it was exactly the material I wanted. It hurts but in a good way. I roll my legs with it for about 10 minutes. Focusing on thesaurus parts and my legs feel all tingly and relaxed when I am done. If you have any problems with your leg muscles and circulation this is the product for you!

It's a Bargain!

I had a hamstring injury I was trying to rehab. A friend of mine had one of these in his bag and let me use it. I liked it so much that I went online & bought one for myself that day. I am still using it every day at home & in the office. Simple & effective to use.

Love this roller!

I love this roller! Once I started using it after my workouts, I found I didn’t get sore as badly as before. It’s great for traveling, and needless to say it doesn’t take up much space, so it’s super easy to store. Love it!

Best Roller you will ever own

I live a very active lifestyle and have used foam rollers, massage sticks, electric massage machines etc. This is the best roller that I have ever owned. If you need a roller, get this one. It is perfect for deep tissue massages and is way more firm than any other roller. There is little to no deflection, while applying a lot of pressure. It uses a roller bearing for smooth rolling; however, it does not have a solid core. The middle is a small rod, but it does the job. The roller bearings, helps keep this one from ripping out all of your hairs, like many other rollers do. I used this roller on my legs and it greatly increased my rate of recovery and helped to prevent shin splints.

Great help

It took me a while to figure out how best to use this. My problem is a problem with the muscle that runs from my hip to my knee on the outside of my thigh. The muscle is compromised because of my scoliosis and a stenosis in my spine. I began a vigorous massage therapy to ease the muscle and get rid of the numerous knots in that muscle. I found by using the massage bar twice a day for five minutes lightly massaging my leg It helped alleviate the pain and the knots and made the effects of the massage last much longer, This regime has enabled me to go from having trouble walking from the LR to the Kit., to being able to up to mile with not problem. The key to using the bar, for my problem anyway, was to find the right amount of pressure. You don't want to push too hard because you will bruise. You need just a steady rolling motion up and down your leg.

THE BEST $25 YOU'LL SPEND THIS MONTH - OR YEAR!

I am sooooo happy to be adding another 5 star review on this bar roller!! It is absolutely the best $25 I have spent (on me) in the past 6 months. I use it by myself on my shoulders, back (rolling over it on the floor) and thighs, and trade out with my hubby or kiddos for a buddy massage. We have a nice chair massager but this Extreme Massage Bar cracks the kinks out of spots the chair missed entirely. I also use it on my feet (with socks or without) - standing with weight baring down - and find it works better than the other foot rollers I have accumulated. This is the kind of product that you use and instantly feel sorry for every other person who has not tried it. I already know what I am giving as Christmas gifts this year. :) Note: This roller is neither mushy foam or hard plastic. It is made of a sort of compressed rubber. The ergonomic handles have a softer, "grippy" rubber-type material and makes it much softer to hold and use than a rolling pin.

After trying 5 or 6 massage sticks, the GoFit is by far the best on the market!

I do a lot of road cycling and indoor stationary spin bike. After each sessions I feel pain in my lower legs. Before applying some heat with a bean bag I now use a massage stick since about one month and it is greatly helping me recovering. After trying 5 or 6 of the "best" massage sticks, for me the GoFit is clearly the best on the market. I tried the following massage sticks : - Tiger tail : comfortable but outdated for the asking priceTiger Tail 18-Inch Muscle Massager - Perfect Fitness : way too big for nothing and most importantly the worst design of the bunch! The roller is divided in short three sections (horizontal / vertical / horizontal), the problem being you always end up in between two sections and it is annoying and uselessPerfect Fitness Handheld Massage Stick - Physix Gear Sport : Don't let the Amazon pictures fool you : it is made of hard glossy plastic and the cheap handles are gummy (like chemicals are oozing off from the handles)Muscle Roller Stick Pro, The Best Massage Tool for Sore Tight Muscles, Cramps, Trigger Points, & Knots, Top Massager for Calf, Legs, Back, Rehab, Lactic Acid Recovery, FREE EBOOK & Lifetime Warranty! - Gaiam : That one I simply don't get it. The handles are a very soft rubber with a nice gel-like feel, and the bar itself is a firm rubber that gives a great rolling experience. The ball bearings are a bit rattly and sort of 'clink' as they roll (they're the same bearings you find in skateboards and rollerblades) - but that's far better than a bar that squeaks as so many others do that don't have ball bearings. I prefer the rounded shape of this bar compared to the bar at my gym (ASIN: B00MB5FV2O), as its ribs are too pronounced to give a smooth rolling action and it ends up stretching the skin where as this bar does not do that at all.

Best massage bar I’ve ever used

Best massage bar the price. Solid build and easy to roll. Spikes do a great job of breaking up tissues and creating blood flow. For someone who likes a deeper massage, this is the one. I personally find very little value in traditional massage rollers.
