Awesome for stocking shelves!
I ordered the large size and they are too tight for me. I am 6 ft tall, 215lbs and I measured my center of my knees to be 15 1/2". I think these would have worked out great for my purpose if they weren't too tight and restricting for me. I bought these to use stocking shelves at a grocery store. Having 215lbs on your knees stocking bottom shelves isn't comfortable. I've looked everywhere in stores and all the pads are too small for me. It's weird though because you would think people as big as me or bigger would need these just as much, if not more than skinny people. Can anyone recommend a big feller like me some big kneepads that would fit me and go under my jeans? McDavid, please make an XL one, I'll buy it. Edit: My dad wore these to work and his knee cap measures around 18". (Since he has a condition with his legs, he wears long compression socks, and he must not have noticed how tight they were). So I tried them back on and they fit. I guess they just needed to be stretched out. I've been wearing these to work and they help out a lot. They are still tight but wearable but do get hot. I also do get some red marks that I noticed when I take them off as did my Dad. 10 Month Update: I'm still using these everyday I work which is around 3-5 days a week 5-7 hours a day. I wash them after everyday I work in cold water with dollar store brand woolite. They will stink after how long I use them for. In the winter you can get away with washing them every other day when you use them. I just noticed they make this in XL so like I said previously I am buying a new pair. These are cool because I can wear these under my jeans while working in a grocery store during the day. It would look weird wearing the ones you get at a home improvement store with a hard cap over your pants. However it would work better and avoid my issue. After using these so long and awhile the pad starts to break apart and away. So the pad is no longer whole, however it still protects my knees from the hard floor. I don't know if washing them often caused some or most of that.

6 months of very heavy use.
I build roof trusses and i kneel on a steel table . I have used these for 6 months straight. I gotten the large the where tight and hurt the back of my leg for about a week until I broke them in. If you measured one size I recommend one size bigger. After i broke then in I would forget I had them on. Durability was decent. After about 3 months off use the pads starting to break apart on the top and hurting, so i starting wearing them upsidedown that also work for the next 3 months. Durability will be better if you only use them once in awhile. Value for the money for me i would have like a little longer usage but they helped my knees a lot. I highly recommend them. Just remember one size bigger.

Feel comfortable but protected.
I like this pad set because it’s lightweight and comfortable when you bend your knees and elbows, just be sure to follow the sizing chart to fit. I don’t know about the durability cause I don’t use it often and because I use it for electric skateboarding, I won’t know until I fall off but I’m sure it will take the initial jolt off of the spill. I also have skating pads but it feels so bulky so I prefer these. The foam inserts are very soft and giving for comfort. As far as price, can’t beat it. Easy to slip on and off to store. Riding a 38” skateboard doesn’t require as much joint movement as playing basketball, volleyball or tennis, etc. so maybe the pricier models might fit better.

Good knee support
I purchased this item to reduce bursitis flare-ups after walking. It does help. I have 2 comfort issues however. It can feel very hot on my knee during summer walks to the point of becoming damp on my skin. Also, the top edge of the pad tends to curl on the back of my knee, which is irritating. I do think the price for 2 pads was very reasonable. Since I need the pad for only one knee, I have a spare.

Fits well, ample padding for low impact activity.
Sizing chart works. I measured my leg / knee, looked at the chart, bought a size, and it fits well. My use / application for this is to pad the side of my knee while racing my car at the track. Lateral g's while cornering lead me to brace my right leg against the center tunnel / console in the car. After a while the forces lead to bruising. This knee pad (only using one of the two) solves the issue for me. It's a straight cut / shape pad unlike some which are formed / profiled for a bent knee. This makes it much easier to rotate it 90° to the outside of my knee without any discomfort. It is a relatively thin pad. I think it's good for low impact activities. Anything like volleyball where you might be falling to your knees it's likely too think of a pad. For working outdoors I don't think the outer material will stand up to abrasion. Grass, OK. Rocks, dirt, brick, concrete, NO.

Nice, affordable knee pads for dance fitness classes
I purchased these for pole fitness class where we do a lot of floor work and warm ups on our knees. These save my knees from hurting half way through class and make some of the tricks easier because I can move smoothly across the floor. I have not tried to invert with these but they do not interfere with spins or basic leg hooks. I purchased a large and they are a bit too snug above the knee as I have larger legs. It would be nice if an xl was offered. They do slip a bit during class and I have to adjust them every once in a while but not so often that they are annoying. They are hot and make my knees sweat but again not too much so as to be uncomfortable or annoying. I have only washed them once so cannot comment on how they hold up to regular washings. They bend easily and were not to stiff or thin, to me they have just the right amount of padding. I have worn them for 2-3 hours at a time 3-4 times a week for two months now and have not noticed any deterioration in quality. I would recommend these because they are affordable and have held up longer than expected and have shown no sign of needing to be replaced.

Well made and comfy knee pad
I bought these for my employees to wear while shooting corporate video events on long days. We kneel a ton and the cement floors start to feel like razor blades if you don't have some sort of protection. We ended up buying double the amount that we needed because we figured there was only 1 pad in each case. So for the price we were surprised when we had more then we needed. A good surprise because they are quite nice and I would have def bought some more for the rest of our team. The pads are nice and comfy to wear for long periods of time. They dont seem to dig into the back of the knee like other pads we have tried. There is sufficient padding for our needs without the pads being bulky or limiting movement. Good quality, good protection, worth double the the price.

Great buy
Can't complain, this feels like a quality product. They come in a pack of 2 so you don't have to order separate 2 packages. It's tall enough to cover your lower knee. It's flexible and slim but the padding is sufficient to protect you. I personally wash my protective equipment like this by hand right after each game which I think will make it last longer but as I said the quality on this seems good enough to put into a washing machine.

... using this for awhile now and the quality is great. It hasn't ripped and holds up
I have been using this for awhile now and the quality is great. It hasn't ripped and holds up. I use it for my knees and I do find it a bit tight for the size even after measuring my legs. I had to try to stretch them out. I use these for house work and they do not shift or move around. I give it 5/5 because of its comfort and quality.

Amazing
I love McDavid products and this is a perfect example of why. I use these knee pads for football and they give way more protection than what are commonly used. they fit perfect and don't slide around at all. Great product, have recommended these to many teammates.

Good for the price.
These knee pads are ok. I bought them for work in the auto industry because I find knee pads with straps very uncomfortable. They provided me with the support and comfort that I needed for about a month, but they have begun to wear down considerably and now have deep creases just under each of my knee caps. Fortunately, they are relatively inexpensive so I will buy another pair when they give out completely. Note: The attached photo was taken after a little more than a month of almost daily use.
