Softball knee sliding pad
Decent sliding pad for youth softball. Had to return the youth size and get the adult size for my daughter who is 9 years old. If your child has meat on their bones then the adult size may work better than the youth size.

Perfect for protection on knee when sliding
I constantly scratch my knee while sliding so this product helps so much and is so comfy and durable. 100% recommend. Worth the money for sure.

Improvement over old models
I've purchased many of these over the years, and this model is better than the prior which was for a specific knee (R or L). The slider is tight and remains in place even after sliding, and doesn't ride up or down after running around. It provides sufficient coverage to prevent most scrapes on those cement fields. I will buy these many more times, hopefully, but not because they wear out fast. They hold up, but I have found the bottom elastic is usually the first to begin losing its rigidity, and becoming a little loose. I am usually able to get about 100+ washes out of them before I consider getting a back up. Tip: Air dry inside-out to help it last longer.

Fits good and offers good protection
The Mizuno Slider Kneepad is exactly that. It's meant to go more around/on the knee and upper shin as opposed to the calf, which is what I really wanted. When I slide feet first I tend to scrape up my shin a little more than my knee. There really is no exact way to wear it (which is nice, but may be confusing for people). So just slide it on and position it where you feel you need the protection. As I said I scratch up my shin more and I prefer to not diminish my speed, so I try not to cover my knee with it. As such, I keep it just below my knee (and I turn it a little to the outside of my leg) It stays up and it fits well. The padding on the inside (there really should be a picture of the inner padding) does the job and it really saves me from going home with dirt scrapes on my shins/knees. Others stated it’s tight right out of the package. For bigger girls/guys that may be the case, but the fabric seems to have a stretch quality. As with any sleeve type item it’s meant to be tight and stretch to eventually fit any leg shape/size. I’m 5’4 130 lbs with large muscular calfs. It fits fine and I definitely don’t feel restricted in it. If I cover the knee it fits exactly as a McDavid knee sleeve may fit. I was able to use it right out of the package. It softens up every time I use. It’s great. Others docked this negatively for only being one, not a pair. Well, buy two then and the math is the exact same. If you think you’ll slide on one leg more, get one. If your all about switching up the legs then buy two. Don’t knock on the product if you don’t read the description or don’t do the research ahead of time. Overall, I’m happy with the buy and would buy again.

Works well. It's like a knee sleeve with a bit of padding.
Although it's not the fat kneepad that some might be used to, it works well. Whenever I have gone down on a knee, I have never felt the impact very much. It has worn a bit, but it's mostly just the Mizuno logo, which is located right where your kneecap/bone would hit the floor. Also, don't be surprised that this is sold as a single kneepad, not as a pair.

For someone who is in a constant state of attempting to knee kick trees for stealing all of my vitamin D and creating too much shade in an already dark, disturbing world, these knee pads work absolute wonders. (DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT PROMOTE DEFORESTATION BUT I AM DEFINITELY NOT HAPPY.)

Extra protection for confident sliding
Covers well,seems to stay put,adds extra protection for confidence to slide for young kids. Fits well under the uniform. Nice padding not too excessive

Good quality good price
My daughter had a bad cut on her knee. The Mizuno Kneepad protects the knee and helps it continue healing and my daughter to continue training. She says it's comfortable.
