Works Fairly Well, Would Like More Size Adjustment
I found this sleeve when I was researching the DonJoy TROM brace after knee surgery. I was using a cutoff leg of some old long underwear to prevent irritation from the brace, and that started sliding the moment I stood up, so I figured this had to be an improvement. I debated about the size given the advice from an earlier poster, but I went ahead and got the two sleeves in the size that fit my leg measurement. The leg is basically an inverted cone shape, and I was concerned that if it was too tight it would just squeeze its way down. It definitely works better than my cotton sleeve, but there are many things that can help or hinder how well it stays. With the dry winter air, I have to think a lot more about applying moisturizer than I ever would have normally It also helps to have one's skin slightly damp, like after a bath or shower. I considered shaving my leg as well, but my wife thought I would not be able to handle the itching as it grew back ;) As the swelling went down from the surgery and I lost some muscle mass, the sleeve became very loose at the top. Rather than get a new one, we figured out how much to take in, and my wife sewed up a fold on the back side. That is where it would be nice to have some sort of size adjustment to cover the changing in leg size. I don't know if some sort of velcro tab or something would work, but I really didn't want to keep buying as my leg size changed. If you get this, I recommend getting two, so one can be worn while the other is cleaned and dried. It is comfortable and prevents the irritation and chafing from the brace padding and straps.

I love this sleeve!
I have ordered two of these sleeves over the past two years. My brace came with the cloth sleeve, which was comfortable on my skin, but would slide quite a bit. I ordered these neoprene sleeve to help keep my brace in place and have not been disappointed. Right out of the package, it does fit me pretty tight. I have played soccer for decades, and my calves and quads are muscular, and wear a large size brace. The sleeve feels a little tight the first time or two, but then it stretches a bit and feels great. This sleeve fits under my brace fine, but of course, it is a little more tight than when not using it. This is not a super thick sleeve, but still enough to where your straps won't go to the same point as with the cloth sleeve. The first one I purchased, over a year ago, finally stretched to a point that I used it for working outside while wearing my brace. The new one is for the gym and soccer. Overall, the sleeve feels great, helps keep my leg muscles warm and my brace from slipping. I would recommend this to anyone who has a knee brace and suffers with chaffed skin and brace slippage.

If your knee brace is causing itching or discomfort, just buy this undersleeve now
I tore my ACL, and had to wear a brace for a long period of time. The brace was itchy, was giving me a rash, pinching my skin, etc. So, instantly wanted relief. This undersleeve is amazing. If you ever need a knee brace, just buy this right away. It relieved the above issues I had with brace. Very easy to put on. Easy to clean. Affordable (trust me, if you had the discomfort I had with the brace - the money for this undersleeve was definitely worth the price). Knocked off a star as the top seemed to not fit the best. I am not sure if I got my measuring wrong or not. It just felt a tad off in fit. I might come back and edit review to add that star back in.

The Undersleeve Runs Small
Now that I have the right size, I'm very happy with it. According to DonJoy sizing, I fall right in the middle of the medium size range. I ordered a medium and could hardly get it on. I reordered the large and it is very comfortable and helps mitigate the abrading caused by certain aspects of my brace. (To be fully honest, I use it under a DeRoyal Warrior II brace and not the DonJoy.)

This undersleeve (medium) that I purchased to wear underneath my Bledsoe knee brace was quite good, comfortable, suitable material, well made, which satisfactorily minimized my brace from slipping. However, be aware to ensure that the correct sizing must be established before ordering your correct size actually needed. I had problems initially ordering the wrong size to fit my knee (XL and L) and was originally disappointed, hence only 4 stars. However, my problem was sorted out by great customer service experienced from Advanced Sports Medicine,

Helps Keep the Brace Up
It does help keep the knee brace up better than the cotton one. Even though it has holes in it, it does get hot and you sweat underneath it in moderate to warm weather--thus the 4 stars. I wouldn't imagine neoprene could be otherwise, but just be aware that you may have to rinse it out at night because it does get sweaty.

Great item
To be fair, the item is great. Very comfortable and works well an ACL knee brace... The crappy stars is due to Amazons seemingly continued delivery issues. Your delivery guarantees are a joke Amazon. Old school advice..... Dont make a guarantee unless you can stand by it or are prepared to do something about it when the guarantee is broken.

comfortable but doesn't stay up for very long
Good product and was exactly as advertised. Fit is as indicated; I have 24" quads and the large fits nicely. Very comfortable underneath brace. Only complaint is that it doesn't stay "up". I play rugby and had to constantly adjust it. I sewed on some Velcro so I could fold it over top of brace and attach it to its Velcro mate and now it works like it should, only problem now is that its a shade short but still does the job. Donjoy if your listening , you should install Velcro patches so that it stays in place , really a "no brainer" as without the Velcro it is just another comfortable sleeve that doesn't stay up. Thanks

as described, arrived quickly. The thing I like about this undersleeve is that the brace won't slip when you have it on. I am looking forward to this in the wintertime, when it is cold outside. During the summer, this gets sweaty. It is nice to wear even without the brace on, for the compression quality of the undersleeve. Follow the measurement details, with Donjoy, once you know the sizing, it is always that size. I am currently wearing this with my OA Catalyst Propel custom brace.
