Good basic vest

It's a solid vest with sand filled weight that are sealed nicely. Shoulder pads are (imo) not a necessary add-on under ~40lbs. The straps hold tightly with no slipping. The drink holder is an unnecessary feature that just gets in the way and should probably be designed as a Velcro through loop attachment rather than a stationary sewn-on feature. Overall, it is very good and should last a few years.

Don't bother with the shoulder pads

I like this vest very much. I got the option with the shoulder pads. The shoulder pads are useless. Skip the pads that come with the vest and get some nicer, thicker pads like ones for guitars, golf bags, camera bags, and so on.

Well made and optional weight

The vest is made very well and is comfortable. I like that your able to remove or add weight as needed depending on your exercise. Want to train hard max it out with 50lbs for rucking. Want to go for a short run/walk take weight off to fit your desired need. Also the water bottle holder on the front is a nice touch. It’s not good at holding a bottle while running it works good for walking or hiking.

This is a low impact tool for exercise

I have lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks walking 2.8 miles twice a week. I would have lost more but I'm lifting at the same time. Highly recommend for walkers.

50 pound vest was challenging

I walked 3.3 miles (5 kilometers) with the 50 pound vest. Even with the shoulder pads it started to dig in a bit after 1.5 miles. I figure I’ll get tougher, especially in those neck muscles. Great product!

A comfortable unit.

I like to walk with some added weight as I think it is one of the best overall health exercises. I used to have weight in my backpack, but most of that was carried on my shoulders. This unit distributes the weight well and is of sturdy construction. I ordered the shoulder pads as an add on, but so far I haven’t used them. I walk about 3 miles carrying 50 lbs. this a good workout for me.

Great product. Exactly as advertised!

I purchased to 60 pound vest and have been using it for about a month. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the material and the solid craftsmanship. This vest is expected to haul around heavy weight and it uses materials suitable for the job. The strength and stitching is what you need to do the job. It’s definitely not a cheaply made product. I started with 24 pounds to get a feel for the pack. I soon added another 12 pounds to 36 and will be adding another 12 in the coming days. The addition/subtraction of weight is easy - just slip the weights in/out. Takes seconds. I did not order the should pads when I bought it. This may have been a mistake. About two weeks into my daily use of the best my shoulders were literally killing me. It was about the time I added weight. Instead of waiting for shoulder pads I stole four sponges from my wife’s kitchen supplies and used two for each shoulder. PROBLEM SOLVED! The weight definitely adds a challenge. I use the vest on my daily 5.5 mile walks. The vest gets my heart rate going a lot more and I’m spending most of my time in Zone 2 and Zone 3. Before it was mostly Zone 1. Nice for the heart and the fat burn. I’m really pleased with this product. It adds a great element to my walks. Gives me that “spent” feeling, which I didn’t really get from walking without the vest. It’s great finding a product on Amazon that actually does what it says!

Great Value

While there are nicer vests out there, this is fantastic for the price. It’s well made, easy to adjust and reasonably comfortable. The shoulder pads may be a good investment if you’re running with it, but not needed for general workouts. Best of all, it’s half the price of comparable vests.

Husband really enjoys this product. Comfy, stays in place and weights are already inside the vest. Had bought another one that ripped and wasnt as heavy. Very satusfied with this product.

Got this to help with working out for more weight resistance quality of the vest is very nice fits great has spot to put my phone so I can listen to music would definitely recommend this for anyone who's looking for weight resistance training or to give more of a challenge to your regular workout

As advertised

Bought to add some weight to my daily walks. A bit uncomfortable at first, but not a deal-breaker by any means. Advice is to add weight slowly to your workouts, as your body needs time to adjust to carrying the extra weight. Product is good quality so far, and as advertised.

Great vest!

So far so good.... I had purchased it the last week of September and as soon as it came in I put it on. The shoulder pads are great and add extra support. The weights in the vest are secure for jogs or even workout with the vest on. Great purchase but be mindful of the questionable stares you get as it might look like a vest for something else ???? 4/5 stars
