It got the job done

I was a bit nervous after reviews that mine would be defective but it wasnt it. took three of us to assemble. But was nice once we got it. Didnt bother with it the second time to the beach tho, just because of the effort to put together. But it does do the job wants its up.

Pleasantly surprised

I bought this from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $14 and had very low expectations based on price and reviews, but I needed something cheap for an upcoming beach trip. I am pleasantly surprised in this tent. My only complain is the pockets for the poles at the top of the tent are in an awkward place and prevent the zipper from closing the last couple inches on each side. There are also two mesh windows on each side, the pictures only show one (which was a nice surprise). I see none of the issues (zippers, seams) that other people have commented about. I don't expect it to last year's, but it should last a few summers. It's a decent size, don't expect chairs to fit inside it but 2 adults and 2 kids could easily sit inside it. It's really easy to assemble not sure why people are saying it's hard. Very straight forward and only 3 poles 1 long and 2 short. Directions are very clear on which size goes where. Tip- to get it back in the bag fold the tent so it's as long as the pole bag and tightly roll the tent around the poles, and make a small hole in the bottom of the tent bag to release air to make it slide in easier.

April 25, 2,021 I like the multiple colors. Inside is big enough for 1-2 peoples. It is a little tricky for one person to set up, using the fiberglass poles . The carrying bag included, is too small. I'm using a larger plastic zipper bag to carry and store it in. I can take my time when I go to the beach to set it up. I haven't used it yet, as it is too cold here. Probably at the end of June. I bought it for protection against the sun on the beach.

Lightweight Cabana Worth It

Just received this tent today and did a test run. Overall I am really happy with my $20 purchase! It is super easy to set up if you've ever set up a tent before. There are only 3 poles, one long, 2 short, and thought it was pretty self explanatory. Took maybe 5 minutes by myself. Taking it apart is even easier, but as with any tent you have to roll it hot dog style really tight to get it back in the bag. Try to see where the fold creases are and that usually helps. I'm giving it four stars because the carrying bag didn't have a handle as pictured, BUT it is so light and so small that it could easily fit in a larger beach bag or back pack. I'm probably going to toss it in a beach bag and be just fine. It is pretty wide, but somewhat short. Don't expect to sit inside with a chair. Overall quite roomy and worth $20. Great alternative to expensive brands. I will update after my first beach trip!

Easy to assemble but you get what you pay for.

It's self explanatory, it sets up like a tent. But it is on the cheap side when it comes to the stitching. The peice of fabric that holds the tension of the pole ripped when we set it up. Thankfully I can see it back on and only the threads ripped and not the fabric itself. I wish the vents at the top had a flap that we could close it incase it rains, but it's for a beach so it will serve its purpose. Hopefully it actually does protect from UV rays like it claims.

Toddler and Dog Approved

Perfect for either my toddler or dogs when traveling. I can set up a small table inside for my toddler to play with his toys, or a blanket and pillow. Used it once for our doggies as extra shade. Quick and easy to setup or takedown. Can't comment on longevity, we use it maybe every other month or so, but doesn't appear to have any major flaws.

Great for Travel! Great for the beach!

Just got back from our Florida vacation. We live in Toronto, Canada. This was small enough that it fit in our suitcase. Held up really well at the beach. One of the days that we were there it was rather windy but we had no problems. The tent comes with stakes which we pushed into the sand. We also put our beach bag inside which helped with the wind. Definitely recommend this to friends and family. The only con is the bag that it comes in was a little small making it a bit difficult to put back in. Don't get me wrong, we got it back in but it took some effort. Would still buy this product again knowing that. Will be using this all summer long!

It's awesome! Haven't gone to the beach without it since I got it. Convenient to carry (comes with an adjustable bag), and easy to setup (5 minutes max). The material is good, and it seems sturdy. There are 2 pockets inside that's big enough to hold a regular size novel. The only negative I can say is that it's not as big as some people suggest. I'm a slim guy and so is my fiancee (plus she's 5 foot nothing) and we fit in there comfortably but there is no way a third person could fit in there. One baby, yes. A toddler, maybe a slightly malnourished one. 2 babies, your pushing it. The roof slopes down so if you're taller (I'm 6'2), you won't be able to sit upright if you go a little deeper into the tent. I'll end on a positive note since this is a great purchase. The doorway can be zipped up, which is great because you can leave your stuff in there while you swim (a little added security). You can also change inside (one at a time). There are hooks to keep the tent from blowing away since it's very light weight. Highly Recommended!

Not great.

This tent is ok, but there are much better ones out there. It is quite small, so even having an adult and a child on a towel inside feels a little crowded. There isn't much ventilation, so if you are on a hot beach it is very uncomfortable. The setup isn't too bad, but again, there are easier ones out there. I just got one from Canadian Tire to replace this after a year because I don't want to use it. If you are looking for something to set up in a backyard for the kids, it is probably fine.

Poles are cheap and broke, but I'm still using it. Kept our baby out of the sun.

I've used it several times at the beach for our baby and to store our things. The poles are cheaply made and one snapped during the first use from the wind. I patched it together with a stick and some duct tape. Since then, I've always tucked the stroller in it to keep it sturdy, but I loose a lot of space doing that. I probably wouldn't buy it again. Would want something stronger. When is the beach ever not windy? Like, never.

Poor Workmanship

JUNK! First one I received, the top pole pockets were stitched to the door, not the top of the shelter. Thinking it was a one off, I requested a replacement. Second one had the pockets stitched on backwards.......and again on the door. Refund requested. Waste of my time. Zero quality control.
