Great Backpack - Disappointing Bladder
tl;dr: Backpack - 5 stars; Bladder - 2 stars My daughter has just taken to riding her bike...and she wants to go everywhere! So, I bought the two of us hydration packs for our long journeys. Since I was going cheap, I decided to get two different brands (one for her and one for me) just in case one of them turned out to be a dud. Unfortunately, that one turned out to be mine. I got the "Mubasel Gear" pack for my daughter, and I'm much happier with her pack's bladder. The bladders and straws between our two packs look almost identical - save for this pack's being 2.5L where the Mubasel Gear pack is 2L. The difference is how the straw connects to the bladder. On hers, it's a quick-fit connection where the bladder has a valve such that it remains closed when the straw is not connected. This pack has a threaded connection which has no such valve. So, if you go to fill the bladder without the straw connected - like I did this morning - water starts pouring out of the bottom of the bladder! While this does not sound like much of an issue at first (I know some of you are saying, "Just connect the straw before you fill the bladder!" it's not as simple as that. First, you have to thread the straw through the loops on the backpack straps then up through the top of the back into the bladder pouch. Now you need to screw the end of the straw into the port on the bladder - which is now harder because the straw is threaded through the backpack, meaning you can't twist the straw around to actually screw it into the port. Once you manage all of that, now you have to hold your whole backpack up to the fridge to fill it with ice and water instead of just holding the bladder. So, anyway, I get through all of that and clean up the spill (remember, I first started filling without the straw connected), and then we head out on our ride. 30 minutes in, and my back is starting to feel wet. Sure enough, the bladder is leaking. I'm almost certain it's because of the screw-in port. On the plus side, it's a slow leak. In the 2.5 hours we were riding, I probably lost ~500ml due to the leak. The downside: the water did not stay in the insulated compartment with the bladder. It leaked through and made a puddle in the adjoining compartment - with my wallet and phone! In comparison, my daughter's pack, at the end of the ride, was completely dry - and we filled her bladder to the brim at the start. The backpack itself I am very happy with. Plenty of storage, great compartments, maybe just a tad small for me (I'm 6', 180lbs) or perhaps just smaller than backpacks I'm used to, but it was still very comfortable. Also, all of the seams seem well made, and I would fully expect this backpack to last at least a few years. I half expected the insulation to be a total gimmick, but it did seem to help. While I didn't have any ice at the end of our ride (only filled about 1/4 to 1/3 with ice), the water was still nice and cool. And the padding+weave on the pack helped to keep my back cool - or maybe that was just the leaking water :-) If you already have a good bladder, and you're looking for a new backpack, then I would highly recommend this pack. However, if you're looking for both the pack and bladder, I can't recommend this simply due to the bladder issues I had. I may give my bladder one more shot and see if I have the same problems. If I continue to have the same problems, I will either need to find a new bladder, or I will end up buying a pack like I got my daughter.

There isn't a spot to clip the drinking hose and it come out funky.
Well I bought 2 different ones at the same time this one the hose had a quick connect to the bladder the other didn't (not the same product) i by far prefer that, but this one didn't really have anywhere good to clip the hose. And the way it come out I don't like. Otherwise it was great. Holds lunch, snacks (2 similar packs for 2 adults and 2 children), radio and gps fine. Much more you'll need a second pack. But it has done exactly what we expected and ask of it.

Great hiking pack for kids
This hiking pack is great for kids or a daypack for adults. Has water(camel pack) and several pockets. Bought for my 12 yr old niece that loves hiking. It was a hit.

Perfect for a day trip.
I got this so I could go cycling for a 22 Mile loop we were doing. It holds plenty of water and there's plenty of room for other items even a change of clothes if you wanted.

4 years going strong
This bag has been one of my favorites. The bladder has been replace a few times but the bag is going strong. No rips, zippers are great, and easy to clean.

Great for the price
So first of all, let me just remind people that you do get what you pay for. This is a really inexpensive pack. That being said, it has been great for most things I’ve used it for. I use this as a day pack when hiking. I love the insulated pocket for my water bladder. I filled the bladder with ice and hiked for 6 hours in 102 Deg temps and found the water cool at least by the end of the day. Pros: - It is very lightweight but still has some structure to it so when I have the bladder full of water as well as a stainless steel water bottle and my dslr with a couple lenses I barely recognize it is there. - it has a comfortable waist strap with zipper pockets for those trail snacks or headlamp. If you adjust the shoulder straps to the right length then it rests on your hips in the right way. - The shoulder straps are comfortable and include a sternum strap with a rescue whistle that I’ve not had to use for emergency thankfully. They also have extra strapping for me to hang clips for my camera so that I don’t have to hang the camera around my neck. - side mesh pockets for additional water bottles. - It is compact and lightweight but has enough room to fit the full water bladder, my lunch, small first aid kit, and my dslr (wrapped in a towel because I often hike in narrow slot canyons and have to squeeze through). - The pocket that holds the water bladder is insulated which helps keep the water cool longer and keeps ice longer. Cons - The material is fairly thin, which adds to its light weight, but a couple rubs against the sandstone in a narrow canyon caused a small hole (smaller than a dime). This is where the inexpensive price comes in. That sandstone is really abrasive though and would wear away most things given time so I have to excuse it a bit for that. It’s what took one star off. - This does not come with a rain cover so I bought one separately and just keep it in the bag at all times.

Great backback for running
I entered a particularly difficult and very ultra-race and had experimented with a few backpacks as I had also to accommodate mandatory kit and other safety items. I came across this make and model of backpack by accident and also found a promotional video on YouTube. This bag is great and meets all my requirements plus I like the insulated part for the bladder to keep the water that bit cooler for a bit longer. The straps adjust easily and the "belt" pockets make supplies like gels very accessible. A great bag all round.

This hydration backpack is just WOW !!
I had bought this bag with very little expectations & thought this will just be a basic hydration backpack. But when I received it, I said WOW !! The quality, finish etc is top notch. So many features & space. You can put your food, some cloths, mobile phone in it, all amazing. It still comfirtable. Later I realized that, it has a big hydration pack too :) I recommend this to everyone, whoever is looking for a Hydration pack.

Awesome quality and worth the price. It does have a rather large drink tube.

Plenty of room and handy if there is poor visibility for a group walking
Plenty of room and handy if there is poor visibility for a group walking. I sued this to complete the Yorkshire three peaks challenge and there was plenty of room for my food and essentials for the day. The water bladder that came with the bag seems well made and hasn't leaked or failed to date.
