It works, but…

Okay, so this stuff actually seems to work. I don’t know the science behind it, but it healed my heel… One cautionary note, I have found the smell of it to be particularly unpleasant in a strange, funky and medicinal manner. Probably best to treat at home and not apply before you go out in public.

This salve works.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review and maybe because that’s because very few products actually do what they say they’ll do. This salve healed the cracks on my heels and softened the skin. It absorbs into the skin and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. I’ve tried other products but this is by far the best. Try it — you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful product!

I love this salve. If you have dry, cracked heels (and who doesn't in the summer as a result of wearing sandals?), this will soften them within just a few days. I also have a callous along the ball of my foot near my big toe that can become cracked and painful. This salve not only provides relief but also helps prevent future cracks.I keep a tube on my bedside table and apply the salve after I crawl into bed. I don't even wear socks. I first discovered this at a spa after I had a pedicure. The girl recommend it , and I've been a fan since. A strange sidenote: I walked through a backyard in sandals earlier in the summer and ended up with almost 20 itchy bites on both feet. I woke up in the middle of the night, crazy with itch. I tried 2 different topical products I had on hand that did nothing to relieve the itch. In desperation I grabbed my tube of Gehwol and rubbed the salve all over the bites. Within a few minutes the itch was gone. Be sure to use the MEDICATED salve.

Greasy, maybe helps a little

I bought these for my hands. He is our hands a lot in water and this was very greasy and difficult to grab onto things and uncomfortable. I think it may be helped a little but I kept wanting to wipe it off so I maybe didn't give it a chance

Holy Grail

This product is truly amazing for what it does for dry, cracked feet. Nothing works better. If you have a heel crack, when you put this on, wear socks overnight (yes…overnight…I know only psychopaths wear socks to bed), but you will truly wake up with much softer and less cadaver-looking feet.

Will update but ok for now

So only used it for 3 days day and night, and my hands are a bit better. Will religiously use the entire tube. I do dishes all the time (often can’t use the gloves bc husband punctures a tiny hole in one of them), sanitizing doesn’t help the skin, just being a mom, etc. So far, it’s ok. We shall see. BUT in terms of the smell, DAMN I absolutely hate it. It’s not gagging bad like a foul smell. It’s more of eucalyptus and a tire store smell. I’ll deal with the smell if my hands continue to get better.

Genius Product!!

My feet’s heels have always had cracked skin that has gotten rougher with age, and I have used so many products to help with little to no success. This has made the best difference and impression. I should have taken a before and after picture, but I can say that this product will forever be my favorite go to. I can’t wait for sandal season.

Snake? As logo? Nah, not for me.

I don't understand this snake diagram on the cream? I don't like snakes, I think it's disgusting and cultic in nature. People shld be careful of what they put into their body so you don't go initiate yourself into something you don't know. Of all logos in the world, you didn't find anything beautiful to use as a logo but snake?? ????????‍♀️ I'm out. If this was part of the ingredients, fine but you didn't have to make it so obvious? Not everybody likes snakes?? For ???? sake. Also, the cream is like pus ????. I cldnt use it. Nah, had to buy another brand altogether.

Brilliant, the only thing that has ever worked for me!

I have waited for just over one week to write this review and have been using the product morning and night. I had tried everything for my cracked heels and overly dry feet. I had bought expensive filing systems, ones that work on batteries, lots of different creams, but nothing worked. However after trying this product after one week my feet are very nearly clear of any dry skin, it is amazing and I would recommend to anybody. Will be buying it again once it has run out and we'll be buying it for my mum who has the same problem.

Deals with dry skin very well

Tried few solutions to help with dry skin, they had temporarily effect. The skin was getting dry after some time. After few days applying Gehwol - Salve for Cracked Skin, my skin was back, to normal. Incredible result, used on hands and feet. Highly recommended!

Very impressed

A pedicurist recommended this brand and I’m glad that she did. I’m very Impressed with the immediate results. I had severely cracked heels that were deep and painful. First night using this, I had immediate relief. After a couple days with exfoliation using a rasp and pumice stone, my feet are baby soft and no more dry cracked heels. You Only need to keep feet in socks right after you apply the lotion otherwise it’ll make foot marks on the hardwood floor. Also, I like that you don’t need much, just a dime size per foot. So this tube can last a while. I highly recommend this product. It works extremely well!
