cheaply made

I bought this 6 months ago. Thought it looked nice at first. Kept in a dry area by an average kitchen sink. It started rusting from the start and last night, it actually fell apart in my hands. Especially for the price, this is a terrible product.

Junk!

Bottom rusted through and leaked in about 9 months. Finish began failing in a few months.

It rusts quickly. Not a steinlees steel dispenser.

Expensive and not true stainless steel. This dispenser rusts quickly. Don't buy it if you want a steinlees steel one.

$40.99 Soap-Lotion Dispenser? What's The World Coming To?

I had two other nice looking metal soap-lotion dispensers in my master bedroom bathroom and needed another one for another type of lotion (I hate the plastic containers with labels lotions from stores come in). I looked at all the other metal dispensers here in Amazon until I was cross-eyed but either they stood out like a sore thumb next to mine or they were cheap with a tendency to rust with negative reviews. I finally settled on this nice looking one. It looks exactly like the picture (a rare thing these days). The body has a metal exterior with a plastic interior but the pump is plastic instead of metal unfortunately. Is it worth $40.99? NO. But I had no other choice. Is it a good quality dispenser? YES. Note: For shoppers shopping for a metal dispenser, make sure that you get one with the body consisting of a metal exterior and a plastic interior (like this one is). Hard to find. However, they will never rust! Those that I had for years have never rusted yet. The ones that will always eventually rust just have a full metal body, interior and exterior. No wonder they rust. Another thing, 9 out of 10 dispensers advertised as stainless steel are NOT stainless steel! They are "stainless look".
