This is Good
This is the only digital torque wrench I've ever used, but I have lots of experience with the click style. This let me tackle some unusual projects that a click torque wrench wouldn't give me enough information on, but I also could have used a torque adapter for the job. This has a solid build and the ratchet feels good like other Gearwrench tools I own. The 120XP version of this is something I would have been all over if it was in my budget at the time (I own some 120XP ratchets and they are phenomenal) but I'm happy with this one. If I need the tiny swing arc the 120XP version would provide in a situation that also needs a torque wrench, it's going to be a bad time regardless. The one thing I wish this had was a switch that I could use to completely disconnect the batteries so I didn't have to take them out every time I store it.

Nice looking wrench
Things I didn't like. Hard to set up, starts beeping long before the torque/angle is reached, hard/ impossible to see display unless your standing over it.

Very easy to use and much faster than click type
I’ve used this wrench several times now and can’t believe I’ve waited nearly 10 years to by a digital roque wrench. Awesome product and reasonably priced

Gearwrench took care of the issue - It Broke Just Outside of Return Window
Update: After contacting Gearwrench they immediately addressed the issue in an amicable manner. The wrench was a pain from day one. I had to wiggle the springs to get them to align with the batteries to turn it on. Once I got the springs aligned and the torque wrench working, I assumed that was the end of the problem. However, I have since had to change the batteries and the problem has returned, but it seems to be worse now. I cannot get the wrench to turn on at all.

Diesel Mechanic review
This torque wrench is excellent. I have had my fair share of torque wrenches and for the price of this one it knocks your typical snap on wrench out of the water. the precision of this torque wrench is excellent. easy to use and easy to learn. It also comes in a great heavy duty box that I showed my coworkers and they thought it was awesome. alot of people mad they paid $400+ for the snap on ratchets instead of this beauty. I love my Gearwrench equipment and will be a voice for them in saying they are great quality and worth the money!

Outstanding, a MUST have for TTY bolts
Easy to set and use. I am building two engines that have TTY bolts. Go ahead and buy one and don't use a angle gauge, MUCH easier to use this torque wrench.

Does the job
So far works well, but torque / angel reached buzzer “ squawking” instead of a constant buzz which is a bit annoying when using. But good for price.

Excellent torque wrench!
I use a Snap-On digital torque wrench at the shop and I've used click-type torque wrenches at home. Because I use a 1/2" torque wrench often, I decided I wanted to get a good digital torque wrench to use at home. I couldn't justify the $800 Snap-On, and it just so happened this digital Gearwrench was on sale when I was looking. Well, I'm quite pleased with it overall. It's easy to use and is as accurate as it claims to be from what I can tell. You can set and save the desired torque spec, so it won't move around on you, it tells you how tight you tightened it and you just turn it off to store it instead of having to set it to its lowest setting like with a click-type torque wrench. The length of it is great and it's easy to apply the right amount of torque. I have to play around with the % setting to get it to start beeping not too early and not too late. I would say the only thing I don't like about it are the 0.1 ft.lb. increments. I never use a "less than whole number setting" value on a 1/2" torque wrench. It's always a whole number, like 55, 80, 140, etc. But because you have to adjust it based on 0.1 ft.lb. increments, if it's on 139 ft.lb. and you need to set it to 140 ft.lb., you have to click "up" 10 times and listen to it beep for each click. It's inefficient and forces you to listen to the beeping. When you hold the button down, it will speed up but in almost unpredictable and exponential ways which, of course, causes you to go too far up or down and you end up clicking like 20 times more and listening to each beep. I cover the speaker while I set it because the excessive beeping is just overkill. It should move up and down using whole numbers, not 0.1 ft.lb. increments. I had to write a lot of words to explain the dislike above but that does not mean I do not like this product. I actually really like it, but if they could do something better (at least in my mind), it would be to change the increment setting or at least give us the option to change it. All in all, excellent product. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a 1/2" torque wrench regularly.

I do not recommend this wrench
I purchased both the 3/8 drive version of this torque wrench and I've never wanted to throw a tool through a window so much in my life. I am not even the type to sit down and write a review , but I felt so compelled to stop any mechanic from making such a poor financial decision. These are the most unuseable electronic torque wrench in the industry. I'm here to tell you not to waste your time. The electronics are so poorly executed. For one if you're trying to get on a tough fastener or injector hold down etc.. the torque wrench will shut off before you get it on there. The adjustment on it is a joke. You start going up in tenths then it will jump to whole lbs then 10lbs and you will run back and forth missing the torque spec you're trying to set it at every time. Not to mention if you forget to hit the set button. As far as I can tell there are no memory settings which is frustrating. Perhaps the worst bit about it is using it. Lets say you have an injector hold down at 89in lbs. You pull nice and slow and it starts vibrating at say 87 in lb. You keep pulling slower and you think man when is it going to get there, so you let off and start your pull again only to find that you are way past your torque. Getting my money back would not be enough to cover the headache and again disappointment. On top of that , where do you even get these crappy tools warrantied? Allow me to re-iterate. >>>>DO NOT BUY THESE<<<< They don't work!
