Great! Black sticks on clothing easier because it's more flexible.
Great! Black sticks on clothing easier because it's more flexible. The clear seems to work better on bags, tents, etc. But this company is great!

Worked great
Received the product and proceed to use it to patch a white down comforter that I had on my bed that was leaking down everywhere. Product work great matched the white color of the comforter, very happy!!!

Saved my jacket
These is the second purchase of this item. It works perfect to save a tear in a down jacket so you don't lose all of the down. Sticks very well and does not stand out as a patch. Really appreciate this product.

Jacket repair
Has to be one of the better repair patch products available. Simple to use. It can be trimmed to size. I repaired a NorthFace Matt black down jacket with a stretch cuff seam tear about an inch in length and another on the back about an inch in length. The color match was spot on. The product is hardly visible. Worth every penny!

Don't bother with Combo
The clear plastic patches are worthless, don't look good and break down in half the time of the nylon patches to look even worse. They go on opaque- would look much better to just get a contrasting color if you can't match the color. Patched my down coat and kids snow pants(I know, not the best choice for knee patches but it was convenient and I had low expectations). The black nylon patches on my coat are awesome and bearly noticeable. The black nylon knee patches are also holding up great after a month. Fraying a little but holding and still doing the job. This is saying a lot on high use snow pants knees! This kid is constantly crawling/digging/generally abusing these knees and the black nylon might just get us through this winter. Black nylon patches 5 star, hands down. Wish I had not wasted my money on the combo pack- should have just gotten a bigger black patch kit.

Seemless!!
We have two tough kids (and a nippy puppy) who wear through everything. When my daughter ripped her brand new ski jacket I almost lost it…until I found these patches. After realizing how quick and easy this was I was hooked! Not only have I used these in outdoor gear, but also on pants, sweatshirts and t-shirts. For small tears when possible I stick this to the inside of the fabric and you can’t even tell that there was a hole!

So glad I found these!!! Holy feather stopper!!!!!!!
I purchased leaves after receiving a jacket I ordered, and discovering it had a small hole in it. The company I bought it from sent me a replacement, refunded my money, and allowed me to keep the jacket. We live on a farm, so it comes in handy having it as an extra jacket around. However the feathers flying out everywhere were pain in the butt. I purchased these patches, not sure what to expect. I have never owned a down jacket before this, so trying to repair one seemed almost impossible to me. Luckily, I searched Amazon and found these. They are so incredibly easy to apply, and they adhere extremely well. I have worn this jacket now on numerous occasions both working on the farm and out away from it. I truly expected for the patch to not stay on, but it has and now I am lucky enough to have two jackets that are both extremely warm. The whole I repaired was right in the back of the jacket and very easy to see. With the clear patch on, you only noticed it if you’re looking for it.

For temp use only. All 4 patches came off in Delicate cycle front load washer!!
I was so excited when I read the great reviews for these patches. I inherited a nice North Face jacket that had 4 individual small holes on it, each no bigger than a pencil eraser. I cleaned each area with alcohol before carefully cutting each circle patch to cover the holes. Allowed the alcohol to dry/evaporate completely. The patches are easy to handle, easy to cut, and surprisingly, easy to separate from the paper backing. I placed each on the holes, with considerable margin allowed to make sure it had plenty of adherence to the fabric. Let it sit for a while, then washed the jacket BY ITSELF on the delicate cycle in my front loader using a mild natural liquid detergent. When I removed the jacket from the washer, ALL 4 patches had completely come off in the washer, and there was a fine layer of down on the surface of the drum and glass door. Of course, I was pretty disappointed. I still had to dry the jacket (not good for down to sit wet!), which of course meant more loss of down as I could not patch a wet jacket. The next day I cut and placed the patches again, which was a bummer, but I want to be able to use the jacket at least for now. I'll be looking for a more permanent solution, and something that will last through at least one single washing. I would say these are good for patching in a pinch, to keep down from escaping until you can find a better, long term solution. So keep a patch in your backpack, but something else entirely in your home sewing/repair kit. I hope this is helpful and saves you some time.

Almost Invisible!
Got a tear in my super light jacket and was losing the down. The clear patch tape worked very well. Be sure to tuck any down away behind the fabric and pull the torn edges close together, otherwise the white down will be visible. Sticks immediately so place it carefully. Press firmly and the clear patch blends in quite nicely. The included instructions are very good. The black repair patches have a sheen to them so I used the clear ones on my black ski pants. Even after a season of skiing the patch is not lifting around the corners.

Poor adhesion
Better than a post it note but not by much. Ensured the surface was clean (technical garment performance wash) and still poor adhesion. This is our third tenacious tape product for various applications and none of them last very long. Better off buying waterproof gorilla tape, more durable and cheaper.

Easy to use
Ok didn’t put 5 stars because A: obviously it shows where I repaired it didn’t expect it to disappear so that’s OK. And B: not sure if it will hold the test of time will tell... so my star rating could go up or down in the next few weeks/months... That being said, I prefer this over the little tear I had... I’m confident it will prevent it to tear further...

Saved my garments
Getting ready for a trip to the vet and my male cat poked a hole in my down vest. I did a lot of searching for a product and had several sales people suggest I just buy a new vest. Well some of us have spent good money on garments that we would prefer not to just replace for the sake of a small hole. I stumbled across the tape as a product review online and despite best efforts could not find it at any local outfitter or sporting good stores because they simply can't keep it in stock. This little package has been perfect and saved my black vest. I can barely tell where the patch is and have had others say they didn't even notice. My father in law has a bright red jacket and we will be trying the same patch in clear on his. This is an amazing product and I couldn't recomment it more. It is the best thing that will save your garments and you can even be fun with colour's/patterns if you aren't worried about the patch matching.

good for fixing holes in lycra
I'm using this to mend small rips in cycling gear, and it's worked well so far. The tape works better on the outside surface. On the inside surface that's next to skin, I find the edges of the adhesive have peeled away and it's not really permanent. That may be because of sweat, or maybe the material is not quite stretchy enough. But for repairs to the outside of the garment it's worked much better and the black tape applied to black fabric makes for a nearly invisible repair.
