Also works with GE dishwasher GDWF100R10WW

I was unable to find replacement pump for my GE dishwasher model #GDWF100R10WW. This pump worked fine even though the inlet nozzle/hose is shorter than my old pump, and it’s noticeably quieter. Saved me from buying a whole new dishwasher. Add my dishwasher model number to the compatibility list.

Easy to install

I don't have experience in repair dishwasher but the pump was easy to install with little time and is working perfectly.

Vibration could be caused by something caught in the impeller.

There was a drumming sound coming from the dishwasher at the end of drain cycle. I removed the toe panel and looked under and saw the drain pump vibrating. I replaced the pump and that solved the problem. I wondered what was wrong with the old pump so I opened it (easy, just 3 screws) and found string wound round the impeller. I removed the string (no idea how that got there) and now the pump runs smoothly. I think the vibration was caused by the impeller imbalance, in turn caused by the string, dampened when there was a mass of water in the pump, but worse when there was no water at the end of the drain cycle. I suggest opening the pump (no need to remove it) and checking for foreign material before buying a new one. I hope this helps someone.

Quiet dishwasher again

Perfect fit for or GE Cafe dishwasher. Easy to follow directions showed that the new drain pump had an updated design. It fit as indicated and my dishwasher is QUIET once again. Yay!!

Avec le nouveau modèle de la pompe, le raccord (problématique) est désormais joint a la pompe. Donc, si votre raccord brise, remplacez votre pompe tout simplement au lieu de 2 pièces auparavant
