Very solid, wish it came in a longer size, over the door, inserts for thin cables…
IMPRESSIONS: First off. Very solid, very thick, I love the metal and finish. COMPATIBILITY: The slots fit all my MIDI and 1/4” audio, instrument, and patch cables. For 1/8” cords, at least the ones I have, they fall through. There are thinner slots in the back, which even my slim 1/8” cables fall through. Additionally, I have some meaty (high Amp) power cables (for high Wattage PA) that are too fat, and I have others (for synths) that fit fine. That's ok, those fatties can go into longer term storage. THE SLOTS: Each slot in this rack has a skinnier part in the back… which is… not great. Because why would I organize my cords that way?? Burying small cords behind bigger and completely dissimilar cords? That's not organized or convenient work flow. I would much rather have a plastic adaptor that I slide over the fingers to make them thinner so I can line up a column of similar smaller 1/8” cords together, because I organize all of one type of cable on a single slot…. Gator should save the metal cutting effort and just give a handful of adaptors to narrow those slots you’d like to put skinny cables on. (Im going to 3D print something). DOOR MOUNT: For mounting, I love hanging my cables on the back of the door. But. The Gator hanger only has screw holes. I did not want to put holes in my door. So I made J hooks for this Gator hanger. It would be a nice option if Gator offered these door hanger J hooks for the cable hanger! ;-). SIZE: Finally, I find this rack a little short, for my cables. I wish Gator offered an option that was 1.75-2x longer. I’ve already filled it up and I have more cables in storage. I still find this rack valuable, I think I can organize a bit more and get what I need on there ;-) SUMMARY: - Quality is Top. Very heavy thick metal. Love it. - Compatibility is great for midi and 1/4" cables, very thin 1/8" and very fat power cables will not fit - The slots try to please everyone by having a small spot in the back, but, this isn't ideal for organization of like cables by slot (buries the little cables behind the big cables). A better option would be adaptors to make the slots skinny. - Mounting was super annoying for me because I wanted it on the back of the door, I had to create special brackets. Gator could offer these hooks and I'd gladly pay an extra $15-20... - The size of the hanger is SMALL, and I quickly filled it up and had a lot more cables left. Seems to me this should be sold in two size options this 14" and a larger 19" or 28". I mention 19" because that's standard rack size, and I'd have thought this should at least be that long. I mention 28" merely as a 2X. The size of this rack at 14" seems very skimpy / short. I could buy 2, yes, but then my door hangar gets complicated.

it's small, but sturdy and works
it's just very small and expensive for what it is. But it's great and works. Gator is a amazing company, they don't build bad stuff. It's not very flexible on what cables to put in. Decided to buy single parts and build my much bigger own one. I guess if you just have a few cables to store away it's fine.

This thing is awesome!
This is rack is made from very heavy gauge steel. I was impressed how sturdy for just hanging wires. It is a perfect design for organizing scope leads. Paint is glossy and seems very durable for the use it will see. Has a couple of mounting options, with included screws and drywall anchors. Didn't attach a photo because the Amazon photos show it very well.

Worked great
Worked good for cable organizing . East to put on and take off without the tangles! Also east to see each cable end before you take off.

Just what I needed!
Works out great for what I needed it for. And that was to hold my test leads for my oscilloscope, powersupply and other test cables and wires.

Cable management & safety
If you have a home studio with a performance space, you need at least one of these to store instrument and component cables safely and conveniently. Rolling up cords and stuffing them into a box or a bag is not cable management. a hanger like this even makes packing up gear fast and easy. I think back to all those years without one of these and wonder how I ever managed.

exactly what it looks like.
tough purchase to get wrong, you either need it or don't. missed a spot with the powder coating in manufacturing, but it's not worth the fuss of an exchange.

Not equal sized slots, unfortunately.
The overall quality of this is great, solid metal and well built. However, they've decided to make the slots alternate between wider and narrower spaces. I was hoping to use this only for bantam TT patch cables, but unfortunately they fall through the wider slots, so I can only fill it half full. Both sizes of slots will fit regular XLR cable thickness. It also isn't be an issue if your connectors are all XLR, or 1/4" phone, as they won't slide through. So, heads up. Check what you need to hang here first...

Very solid and accomodates a variety of wire diameters
Solid steel construction, you won't have to worry about bending the forks. I like that the width of the gaps between the forks alternate, allowing for different cable sizes between them. Additionally, the gap narrows toward the base of the fork, allowing to hook cables with small end connectors on the inside, and cables with larger ends on the outside. Only one minor complaint: Has some minor paint chips at a few of the fork edges. It seems that the paint is quite thick, and not bonded well to the metal.

Using some with magnets on the front of my cabinet doors. Good product.

Nicely made and good spacing/openings for USB/RCA and clip type cables
Plenty strong and nice finish on it. Openings did not accommodate large power cables, but handled everything else.
