You get what you pay for…

I wasn’t expecting much from a $7 paddle. I grew up in the 80s playing with an old sandpaper paddle from my grandparents basement. I bought this for nostalgia but it’s very poor quality. I literally just opened it and the one side is bubbled out in 3 places. The other side of the paddle is ok so far but it’s literally day one. It would b an ok paddle for people who don’t really care about being good.

Old school

Even though I know that padded inverted dimple paddles are the highest quality and the choice of top competitors, I grew up playing against my fellow tennis team players playing ping pong on rainy days and before and after practice at school. In those days the school provided sandpaper paddles and we got pretty darn good with those things. Now I simply prefer the feel and action of the hard wood and sandpaper feel. This paddle is that classic style. My vacation resort home bought a first class $500 ping pong table for the recreation room and of course they bought quality paddles. So I had to go out and buy this $7 sandpaper paddle to have for myself. It's just like I remember.

Can't resist them!

We have some more expensive, "high-tech" paddles but these are the ones everyone keeps coming back to because... the sound! If I had to pick one paddle for all around fun, these are it and they last forever. No matter what your level of play, there's just something really fun about a good, old-fashioned, sandpaper paddle.

Best Bang for the Buck!

Quality whips and floggers cost hundreds of dollars and leather or wooden paddles from kink stores are nearly as costly. For under five dollars each, no one should be without one of these little beauties in their toy bag! It delivers a nice, resounding crack and the sandpaper face turns buttocks and bewbies bright, shiny red with just a few strokes.

Extremely Poor Quality - Glue lump under paper on one side and dead spots.

Really ...really....really cheap. construction and poor quality control.......accidentally bought this when trying to buy another "Champion Sports 5-Ply Sand Face Table Tennis Paddle" for roughly $1 more.....its playable but has a glue lump on one side under the sandpaper and also what feels like dead spots in the wood on one side of the paddle. When reading these reviews myself I looked at his kind of review thinking it was a shill promoting the "Champion Sports 5-Ply Sand Face Table Tennis Paddle " but seriously I can not express how much better the quality the other is.........the Gamecraft is really sad. and I am the old slow dad that is crushing all the teenagers with the $70 thick paddles that come with "padded zipper covers"....sandpaper is the best!

Loads of fun regardless!

Does what a sandpaper paddle is supposed to. Make noise, make a ball travel straight and true but ultimately fail against the ball-spinning soft paddle. Loads of fun regardless!

Great paddle.

Great sandpaper paddle. I like to use this type paddle because I have better control of the ball than with the thick rubber paddles.
