Perfect stash it belt!

I wear this belt for running and working out… It fits my iPhone, credit card and key… it is very comfortable and affordable! I am 5’5” and weigh 129 pounds for reference. Thank you Gaiam for making a quality product that is affordable. I love it so much bought a couple for me and a couple for my 8 year old son as well! He was recently diagnosed type 1 diabetic and needs to carry an insulin insulin pump 24/7 and this belt is so perfect! He even sleeps with it on. Although it is slim it is big enough for his thick insulin pump which is larger than an old school beeper. I can also fit my iPhone in it with the pump if I need to. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Perfect travel bag

Perfect to hold cash and ID. I could fit my phone also but it just added bulk. Used it on our trip to go roller coasting- didn’t have to take it off and leave my valuables behind

Perfect for working out, stays on well, good amount of space for essentials

This product is awesome to have if you are a runner who does not want to have their pockets full or do not have any pockets when running. This particular belt pack is really light and has enough pocket space to store your wallet and such. It is not something I would say you could carry your water in so be aware of that. It is mostly just for your small essential. The zipper is pretty strong so you do not have to worry about it breaking and stuff falling out. The device is well stitched as well so you do not have to worry about it getting holes or fraying. You can be sure that your cards and phone will be safe from falling out. The waist band is adjustable. The only thing I will say about it is that the strap in on the thinner end. The comfortable feel depends on how much stuff you have in there as well as how tight you wear it. The strap holds pretty well to my waist. The design is also just a simple black. Nothing special about it. Overall this device is pretty nice to have. The pack fits pretty well. It can hold what you essentially need but it is not a water pack. It will not hold the water bottle. The comfort is pretty good and the strap although skinny is durable.

A wonderful belt pack for walking/running, at a great price…

My husband and I have become huge walkers during the pandemic, and I like to take my ID, a credit card, a tiny bit of cash, a couple of hair ties, a sunscreen lip gloss, and a key (house or car, depending on where we are) with me on our walks. (I also bring my phone, but I carry that in my pocket so I can get to it easily.) So I wanted to find a very small and slim waist pack to use for just those few things. And the Gaiam Stash-It belt pack does the job perfectly. Please note that the operative word in what I said above is “small”. This is NOT a normal fanny pack. You’re not going to fit your hair brush, or a bunch of cosmetics, or even a full ring of keys in here. It’s really for just the necessities, and just for a limited trip – whether you are running or walking. Although the picture shows the model putting her phone in it, I tried it with my Galaxy S10e, and it was a really tight fit. But, for the few items that I use it for, it’s the ideal size – you can put your stuff in, put the belt around your waist and forget about it. Most of the time, I don’t even notice that I have it on. Two minor issues: First, the belt is pretty short. I’m on the plump side, but not obese, and I have the belt fully extended. So you might think twice if you are a bit more than plump, or even just a very large guy. And second, the zipper seems to be high quality, but the zipper pull is really tiny and kind of hard to grab. So I simply took a split ring from an old key ring, and slid it through the zipper pull, and problem solved – now it’s easy to open and close. But all-in-all, the Gaiam belt pack is well-made, is a good deal for the price, and I’m super happy with it, so it gets five stars from me. Finally, please note that I received this product from Amazon’s Vine Voice review program, in exchange for my honest review.

Minimalistic

I never had a fanny pack as small and as minimalist as this. It is great for jogging or walking. If all you need is your credit cards, some cash and keys, this is perfect. It is fashionable and feels like you are not wearing a fanny pack at all. Comfortable.

Simple and Discreet

This running belt, as others have stated, is on the small side, it doesn't work for my 34" waist but works for my wife (5' tall, I wouldn't ask her waist size). I like that the strap is very stretchy, it's flexible enough that it won't pinch, and the pouch itself is basically only as big as you need it to be: with nothing in it, it's 8.5" x 2.5" and lays flat on your waist. It can expand height and depth significantly, to about 4" tall if you only need to carry your phone, maybe to 3.5" tall if you need to put more/thicker items in it. Note: if you use wired headphones, there is no hole for the wire to go through, it would have to come out of the end of the zipper slot. The thing on the lower right that looks like flexible opening for a headphone cable is not, it's only a stitched logo.

Great belt, but struggles with large phones…

This stash-it style low-profile running belt by Gaiam is an excellent addition to any runner’s gear. With light, moisture-wicking fabric, a very low profile, and a great easy-zip zipper that tracks well and doesn’t snag, this belt excels as a slim option for casual runs or walks. Note that this is absolutely a “slim” belt. You will struggle to fit more than a phone and keys in here, and you may struggle at that if you have a large phone. I especially found it difficult to take my phone (iPhone 11 Pro with battery case) out and put it back in while wearing the belt and would have to remove it, use the phone, replace it, and then reconnect the belt if I wanted to change music, answer a call, et cetera. This may not be an issue for most, but it was an issue for me.
