LOVE this thing

I love this product. It's the only one of its kind that I've been able to find, ever since moving out of my family's home. My mom has had something similar to this for years and I thought it was normal to have in your kitchen, but turns out it's not -- it's unique, but it's a must-have, if you ask me. You save on so much dish soap, you don't need to stop to squirt more soap as you're doing dishes, and the white ceramic base looks so clean and nice by your sink. The spring beneath the gray platform can come out easily, so when you periodically rinse it out to replace the soapy water, you can remove the spring and wipe everything down easily, without any hard to reach areas. And the metal on the spring is pretty thick, so I can't imagine it wearing out and losing its spring. This thing is awesome, and I'm so glad I could find one of my own.

Sturdy

Sturdy and doesn’t stain. Bought this for my mom and she loved it. Doesn’t detract from kitchen decor.

Same one as Grove

Same as the ones sold on Grove, except this doesn’t come with the eco friendly walnut sponge and costs a bit more. Boyfriend loves this compared to the dish soap brushes, sponges clean much better. I’m not one to reuse sponges or dishcloths without washing them, but it seems to work well for him. I just have to steal the sponge and replace it more often than he knows:-)

Great kitchen gadget

I love this! I just add about a table spoon of dish soap into the base. With a wet sponge I dab as I need to wash dishes. One week a clean the base and spring system with warm water and start again. I use less dish soap and its super handy.

Great idea

Works good. It does dry out faster then I thought but it’s much better then just having the sponge in the sink and having to get the dawn out each time.

A Nice Little Luxury for Dish Washing

Ceramic base is very sturdy and it came with two sponges. You fill the base with water and a little dish soap, press down a few times with the sponge on it, and it makes the sponge very sudsy. I wash dishes by hand so it makes it easier to wash dishes with a soapy sponge and it saves on dish soap. Sponge is easily disinfected by rinsing well, wetting it and putting in the microwave for 2 minutes. It never has a bad smell. Love it!

The sponge smells so bad day one

The sponges stinks on day one. As soon as you get it wet, the smell is so weird. I threw it out and got my own. The dish is heavy. The plate is just a plastic piece with holes and a spring underneath. But that is very sturdy too. Just hated the sponge it came with.

Great Alternative if you Don't have the soap pump

Prefer the soap pump rather than tipping a bottle every time you need a soap refill, but this is definitely a great alternative if you don't have one installed. As well, saves on the amount of soap you use.

Lovely little soap dish

We really like this. and it saves fish soap because you fill it with hot water and a little dish soap instead of using lots of soap each wash.

Didn't Work Well With Sponges

I thought I'd like this, but I really didn't. I'm looking for ways to use soap to wash a couple dishes at a time. By just pouring out some dish soap everytime I'm definitely wasting some unintentionally. It bubbled up nice, but I felt like using a sponge was just absorbing those bubbles. I think a sponge needs to absorb just soap, then mix with water to actually clean. This might work better with a brush, where bubbles will sit on the bristles, but if that's the case I'm going to get a smaller dish because this was rather large. I ended up returning this.

Works as stated!

This item works as intended (you put soap & water into the dish, and press down with a sponge to bubble-up the soap), however the spring on the bottom of the insert has already started leaving marks inside the ceramic dish. This is not an issue, as the insert should always be in place... But it's worth noting your white ceramic will not stay white inside.

LOVE THIS!

Absolutely love this bubble up dish and sponge! It bubbles up lovely and saves on washing up liquid, I use method or tesco eco and they work perfectly with this sponge dish. I have used fairy and that works amazingly too. I did pay double what you'd get it if you live in America but to me it was worth the extra ££'s. So yes I'd highly recommend this product.
