Great replacement

Purchased after Hurricane IAN that blew & ripped my existing old one. Long enough and easy to cut to the exact or longer length.

Can't recommend.

I cannot recommend this product. Other than the length, the most important size to know when installing this type of door seal is the size of the "T" that fits in the channel at the bottom of the garage door. This size was not listed on the package, or the website - something that is easy to do. I contacted their customer service and they stated that the size was 1/4 of an inch. When I received it, the "T" size was not 1/4 of an inch. It was just slightly bigger than 5/16", which was the size that I needed it to be. Being slightly larger than what I needed made the installation very time consuming and almost impossibly hard. I put tons of soapy water over the seal & the channels and still needed someone to feed it into the channel while I pulled it through with a vise grips. It took an hour and a half and we could not get it to go the last foot without tearing it or popping it out of a channel. Just an awful experience. I cannot recommend this product.

the Best....

This is actually the "best" one I bought over the years. It's a lot thicker and durable and will probably last longer than the others. Was a bit harder to install and took longer to mold to the uneven concrete, but now it's rock tight and does not let any water in. I tried numerous "3 inch" ones and they flattened to quickly. This one is so good, I ordered another for backup.

very flexiable and soft

Depending on what your needs are, this is a very soft and flexible material. For my installation, I had a very difficult time installing it because it was very flexible and soft. Some WD40 lubricant greatly aided in the install. I was tugging it hard with a pair of 6" needle nose pliers and it held up well. From using other brands, this one is a brand I would buy again.

Defective

Had previously ordered this product and replacement went fine. Second time I ordered this, it was defective and did not fit at all. Customer service was no help. Returned for refund and will try a different brand.

Works well Made bottom Edge like new. On a warm day removed old

Works well Made bottom Edge like new. On a warm day removed old, Cleaned track, And a friend helped push as I pulled it right into lightly oiled place. Best with a second set of hands, I think I could have done it alone but would have took more time. The whole job took 20 minutes. Well worth the price!

Will not seal when temperatures is low.

I fitted this at approximately 0 Deg c, it was rock solid and would not compress when fitted to follow the contours and my garage floor. So I'm left with a seal that cannot even accommodate a 5mm dip in the floor.

Easy replacement seal.

My garage door seals were flat and ripped so I needed to replace them. I got this pack because the price was great. There is enough to do two standard doors with this roll. I had about 9 inches left over. Installation was fairly easy. This job can be easily done by one person. I pulled the old one out with very little difficulty. After that, I cleaned the tracks with a wire brush. While I did all this, I let the roll sit in the sun to make it a bit more pliable. Once they were clean, I sprayed some soapy water in the track to help slide in the new seal. Once I lined it up, it went in nice and smooth. I had a bit harder of a time on the second door since the end of the roll is more tightly wound. This caused the "T" part to pop out a bit. With a flat screwdriver and some wiggling, I was able to get it back in. I will say that this material is not even close to the same quality as what I pulled off. The material used is much stiffer and has more of a "plastic" feel over a more rubbery feel of the original seal. This worries me as I'm concerned it may get brittle in our Northern cold. Time will tell soon enough. As I write this, old man winter is quickly coming. Pros: Long enough for 2 doors easy to install easy to cut Cons: Much stiffer materials Took a while for the seal to conform fully to the floor with no visible gaps

Didn’t do the job

Very difficult to install, I watched all the YouTube video, used vice grips & WD-40 on the track. Took 2 of us over 1 hr to get installed. Now it’s very stiff, ambient temperature is 2 deg C (36F) and it’s so stiff it will not contour to the garage floor so I can see a lot of light where it should be sealed to keep out the cold and rain.

Vinyl is not the right material for this job

Weather stripping needs to be soft to do its job, rubber would be the correct material. This vinyl has no compliance to actually seal the door to the floor. This is almost plastic it is so stiff, especially at lower temps. It also is hard to install for the same reason. It may work for really warm climates, but it is just the wrong material for the task.
