Do not order these if you have thick thighs meaning you wear extra-large pants over a waste size 38.
I wear these for work. I like the materials and construction of these boots. fortunately the girth of my upper thighs are not too thick for them. I mention this because I read in a review that the tops are tight, big sized people and those wearing thick insulated pants should not order these boots. If your waist size is under 38 and you are wearing thick work pants or un-insulated genes you should be okay. For the price I am now buying a second pair. At this point I have worn them doing moderate heavy work 4x now Will update this at the end of the 2022 season to see how well they hold up.

Great hip wader for the price
Got a size 12 for $54, which is a great deal for these boots. I have only wore them a handful of times, but so far they seem high quality and are comfortable to wear. I use them for trout fishing. I spent a few days climbing around some mountain streams with no issues. Like all waders of this type, there is not a lot of cushioning in the boot. I bought some nice thick foam insoles, used the thin ones that came in it as a template, and now I feel like I could where them all day long. I also have a pair of the cheaper Rana II that my son wears, and the Cascades model is significantly higher quality and easily worth double the price. Time will tell if the hold up against my old Hodgman rubber hip waders that I had for 25+ years.

Worth the money for infrequent use
I needed some hip boots for a 2 day trout fishing trip. I hadn't been trout fishing for over a year and the boots I had were cracked at the knee. Despite all the negative reviews I took a chance on these boot and they held up well. To get to one of my favorite spots I had to walk about 1/4 mile through a rough path with tree limbs, rocks, and roots. Where I fished had many smooth rocks of various sizes and I didn't slip on them. When I was walking back to my car I tripped over a root and went down hard on my knees on some rocks. The boots were undamaged even though my left knee inside the boot was cut and bleeding. I don't know how they would hold up over many trips like that, but they did the job for me.

Wish I had bouth the felt soles.
Not great for stream beds. Felt grips better than rubber. Worn once. Feet sweat so much my socks were wet when I removed them. Removed wet sock to discover blisters.

Best Felt bottomed waders.
Best Felt bottomed waders on the market. Lightweight and my first pair lasted me 2 years and still using them. I have tried maybe 4 other brands and none lasted one "rock hounding" season.

Great, Durable, and a Bargain!
I have put a lot of miles on these waders. Always store them in the shade, or inside a pickup cab/garage to keep them from being sun-baked. For the money, there is no better hip wafer out there.

Women Can Use These - Great fit.
As a woman, there are not many products for us in the fishing category. I bought these for wading out into the water to fish in deeper spots. I wear a size 7 ladies shoe and bought the smallest size they had for men which was a 7. It fits fine in height for the leg and with a heavy sock, it was fine in the foot. Plus there was room to get them off easily. They are bit heavy in the foot, but the light weight upper wader is plyable and comfortable. I love them.
