Have had this equipment before and it was very serviceable. Am going to try it again.
I fish small streams and hate putting on big stream waders. These Chotas can be easily put on with wading boots and you never get over heated in the equipment. They are light weight and are perfect for getting into shallow stream water. I've worn out two pair of these things and wouldn't be caught without a pair in my fishing gear. Don't, however, put them on when you're wading in unsure depths of dark water. You might get your socks wet.

Good but needed modifications.
Loved these but I had to add super glue to the hook that holds onto your laces as all the thread had either been pulled out or never applied. Also the bungee cord spring holder around the thighs does not hold worth a damn. Easy fix on Amazon just buy stronger ones and double them up. All In all these are a good product and serve a purpose for skinny water, wading on warmer days or bushwhacking to different spots in wet stuff. A little pricey to have to modify them but it is what it is

Very well made, functional, note sizing.
these look like they will be great. I am 6'3" and size 11 feet, the large size was definitely too small. nice alternative to full waders on a hot day fishing. material and construction seem bomb proof. I had great personal service, a phone call from the company the day that I posted my question to them, they recommended an XL size after my initial order of large size seemed small -> toes up against the sock end and too short. the XLs fit perfectly. Have used them several times, they feel great and I'm finding I prefer them to chest waders, more comfortable, it's rare that I'm in water up to the waist.

Well worth the price (BWCA)
Phenomenal for canoe camping in the BWCA. I paired them with my fly fishing wading boots and they turned out to be the beat gear investment I’ve made in years. No more wet feet! Like having ATVs on your feet. They make swampy portages much less revolting. I found them to be tough and well made. Water/mud slides off easily. The one caveat is that I’m fairly skinny and the cut is almost too wide to cinch the straps down on my legs snuggly. If there is a slim-fit option go for that if you’re slender, though I wouldn’t worry too much. It was never a problem for me.

durable hip waders
I work for FL Fish and Wildlife and use these waders regularly. I have had them for 2 months and so far they have handled being worn while pushing through heavy brush and smilax vines along creek banks. So far there are no leaks. They are light weight and I love the versatility of the length. I've had to sample in FL summer with a heat index over 110 and being able to quickly shorten the length to cool off has been a god send! I highly recommend these waders to anyone using them in hot areas and/or rugged terrains.

Good Product
Used these hip waders on an Alaskan Hunting trip. They worked very well for what I used them for. (Mainly for getting on and off the float plane). I do trout fishing also and can’t wait to try them out on a trout stream. Feet stayed comfortable and dry. I wear a 13 boot and got the Extra Large size. They were a little large but worked out fine.

Good quality
I use these for crossing streams and rivers. Good quality and light enough to carry in backpack. I use crocs that are size larger for the shoe. Great setup for what I need

My favorite waders
These are my go to waders, most of the time I don’t go in deep water, and you can go to the bathroom without getting undressed.
