These performed flawlessly
I work in a wetlands bashing trails through thick bulrush crossing beaver trenches with a 45 lb pack. I've used Lacross Big Chiefs for 15 years. I tried Froggy Toggs for the first time and it's a game changer. No cockleburs got in, stayed dry, plus they are so light and breathable. The effort in high-stepping was greatly reduced and they seem fairly durable. Time will tell. I'll review them again later in the summer.

Nice wader.
So far I am impressed with the waders. I will take care of them and see how they hold up. Worn dozen or so times, so far so good.

Good Product
I had mine for a year and a half before they started leaking, and I fish a lot. I think they would have lasted longer if I had sized up a little. Mine fit, but were snug around the ankles. I had to tug to get them on and off, and tugging put stress on the seams which eventually turned into leaks. You want extra room in them so they slide on and off easily, no stress on the seams.

Review on fit - have not used in water yet
I was skeptical ordering any waders since most of them seemed questionable as to if they would fit me. I am 6'5" and 260lbs, and wear a size 15 shoe. I bought the XXL and they fit perfectly. I wore them with a pair of thick wool socks and blue jeans. The stockingfoot part, while a little snug at first seemed to fit my foot just fine. I have a pair of size 16 Simms wading boots, and between the socks, wader stockingfoot, and wool socks I was able to wear all three and walk around comfortably for an extended period of time. The waders fit over the jeans which were a little baggy, and did not seem to be snug, nor were they overly loose. The "inseam" of the waders seemed to sit just perfect (I have a 34-35" inseam), and the sides with belt loops were right around the pocket level and did not sag nor feel too short. I will be trying these out in the water as fall comes in and walking in the river in shorts is no longer a viable option. Barring any unfortunate leaking problems I believe these waders will work out fine and are perfect for what I need them for, wading shallow creeks and rivers.

Light and comfortable.
Stocking foot of large is several sizes larger than my size 9.5 man's foot.

Data for fellow hikers
2.5 layer membrane, specs not provided. The neoprene sock is actually higher than you can guess from the pictures: the upper part is covered by fabric. The exact weight of one size M wader is 240 g, the other is 243 g. My pair is 483 g, obviously. Size M is okay for 30 inch inseam (32 should also work), and a bit snug for size 9 feet. Might be fine for standing, but not very good for a long walk. Can be used with crocs or other camp sandals.

Hip Waders
I like them. Easy to put on.

Good for the price.
They're great for the price. I've used mine year round They're designed to fit everyone so they're wide enough to some seriously large legged people which makes them a little like funnels that fit on your legs. If your legs aren't like Schwarzenegger's in his prime, it means that if you walk around through trees and bush trying to get to the water, they'll be full of bits of forest detritus immediately. They will also catch on everything and look goofy as well. I glued a sleeve for a drawstring at the top edge and can cinch them snugly to my legs so that took care of that problem. Ok, maybe not the goofy looking part but they are waders after all. The other issue is that they are made of very light fabric. That's great if you want a packable wader but not so good if you have to bushwhack to get to where you want to go. Having said that, I've put them through more than most fisher-people ever would and I've only had to patch them once, and that was because of a piece of barbed wire I didn't see in the bush. Not the waders fault at all. When I destroy these, I'll buy another pair.

Great for cold water kayak launching
I needed this to launch my hobie lynx in the cold water when trying to install/remove the wheel cart. You have to be knee deep. Works really well and waterproof.

FT Rain Gear
I bought the FT Waders due to great success with the FT rain gear I bought and have been using for several years now. Have not had it long enough to award five stars.

Perfect fit
I like the fact that they are so light weight, and they are a perfect match for my Frogg Togg boots which I purchased last year.
