Great for newborns

Newborns nails are so soft. These are great for filing down the nail and is harmful if you go over the skin accidentally.

Not sure what the big deal is

Everyone swore by these so I got them. They might be nice to smooth a single sharp corner but don't expect to use them to trim/file all of baby's nails. I just prefer regular nail clippers because they get the job done quickly. These are gentle for sure, so if you are worried about hurting baby these might be a good fit. I think everyone just has to try different products to see what they like. Baby is 6 months old and I have used one file - barely. Will gift the rest to someone eventually. Luckily they are inexpensive so it's not a huge risk.

Works well if you are squeamish

I wasn't able to work up the nerve to cut my babies nails so this is a good substitute. You use this Emory board just like how you would for your nails. I'm not sure why it's serpentine shaped, that doesn't seem to help.

Work well for babies

I recommend clipping with a clippers first. Use these files to get the sharp edges off. Baby nails are too flimsy for your to take a good amount of length off with a file.

Great nail file for those soft newborn nails

Never used a nail file for a newborn before and instead always used baby nail clippers. Tried these nail files on my current newborn and they worked very good!

Great files for baby’s constantly growing nails, while also being soft against their skin. Easy to use and hold without causing much fuss

They changed the product, unfortunately

I loved these when I first got them for my newborn but i re-ordered and they changed the product. It doesn’t file my baby nails anymore, the surface is plastic now and the edges are thickers. Why change what was such a good product?! It’s not working at all now. Returning. Super disappointed.

Waste of money

Purchased these because clipping my newborns nails is terrifying. However, they don’t work/ file his nail down at all after minutes of filing. A complete waste of money. Don’t waste your time on these.

Usalas con amor

Aunque si lo intentas en tu propia uña sientes que no hace nada por ti, en las uñas hace tu bebé te aseguro que hacer un trabajo excelente. Yo las tengo siempre a mano para limpiarle las uñas a mi bebecita mientras la estoy amamantando, o cuando está muy dormidita. Puedes rebajar las uñas a tu bebecito sin lastimarlo, con un poquito de paciencia eso sí porque el proceso es más lento que si usas un cortaúñas pero a mi parecer es más seguro que un cortaúñas.

Useless

I don't think they work that great at all.. The shape is easy to hang on to, But you're better off just buying a buffing nail block or use a regular nail file and save some money

Don’t waste your money

These do absolutely nothing. They split the nail if anything. Coming from a nail tech seriously don’t waste your money. Super disappointed these are the only things close to a baby file I can find right now.
