Great buy!! Love it!!

Great for children of any age really cuz there are no small parts they can choke on. My nephew is 10 months and I got this as a Christmas present for him. (His dad plays hockey) I love that the stick has adjustable sizes for the taller or shorter kids. The ball is a good strong material, not crappy & squishy like the balls from ball pits. So I do suggest to be careful but I just love that we can be rough with it or if my nephew were to step on it on accident, it won’t dent in. Unlike the other reviews, I think the stick is a good material. Yeah it’s not the best but then again it’s a kids toy. My brother in law who plays hockey religiously actually fell in love with this toy more than the baby ???????? and even with his strength, the hockey stick is holding up. Hasn’t broken yet. If you break the stick... then you really gotta be playing rough as heck. We all love this toy! My nephew screams and walks us over to it so he can play. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the light on top that makes noise is kinda crappy. You have to hit the ball hard and make the net shake a bit for the light and blow horn sounds to go off. Besides that.... this toy has the approval of my nephew, his mom & dad, myself & the rest of my family. We really love how much joy it brought to the baby of the house. SN: I purchased this for $20 which I think was a great price. There are toys way smaller than this that cost more so I loved this price. It also arrived early! Amazon said it would arrive after Christmas but it got here on the 24th so I was super excited about that. I would definitely recommend this.

Decent product

Nice and sturdy. The Piping is a decent caliber and gives it some weight. I have spent the same amount for plastic nets that fall apart with the slightest bit of use. Would recommend.

Great knee hockey set, but for indoor knee hockey you will need to use a different ball.

Easy to assemble and perfect size for knee hockey. My 10 year old loves the light up siren that goes off when he scores. However, the hard, plastic ball that comes with this set is not suitable for indoor knee hockey play. First of all, getting hit with the ball would really hurt. Second of all, the ball would dent the walls of our house. We use the small foam balls that typically come with knee hockey sets instead. They are lighter so the goal sensor doesn’t work as well with them, but still fun. Overall, a great knee hockey set that my son loves. I would definitely recommend.

It's a fun game!

I know the reviews are not great for this hockey game, but I want to say that my 3 little boys and I have had some good fun playing it. The best part is that the game is simple, and you can make up various rules to change things up a bit. We play both a one-shot at a time concept, and a battle royale mode where as long as you are behind your net and on your knees you may shoot the puck from anywhere and at any time. One criticism I will offer is that the corner boards have a stretchy band to keep the puck in play that is a bit weak, the puck will often go underneath this, and stop play. But overall I say it's good competition and fun!

Perfect for Indoor Play

My six year old son loves shooting his foam puck into this net. I don't find it flimsy at all. It folds down easily to take to grandmas this Thanksgiving. Nothing like Indoor hockey to make grandma nervous! This goal isn't really scaled for bigger kids. It's smaller and perfect for the five to eight year old group. (In my opinion). It comes with a motion sensing horn (wish it was a little louder), which still works perfectly after several months of use and a sturdy adjustable plastic stick. If you're going to use this inside, I have a recommendation to make this the perfect gift for a kid. We purchased a Proguard Foam Puck here on Amazon. So much better than the ball! My son has used his on our hardwood floor for months and the foam puck still looks great. Not one foam chip in it. He shoots it pretty hard at the net, but its soft enough to not break anything. I wouldn't recommend the foam puck for outside, as a concrete driveway would probably chew it up pretty fast.

Great Mini Hockey Net

I've played hockey my whole life and I bought this for my son. He was 1 when we got it and he's played with it every day for the past year and a half. We play with it inside, we play with it outside, it's held up pretty well. We broke one of the hinges but the net still holds together fine, and we're not gentle with it. I occasionally shoot on it with a full size hockey stick when I'm carrying one around. My son really loves the light on top. It's motion activated and makes a goal horn noise when anything hits the net. When he was younger he'd yell "again Papa!" every time I took a shot and set it off. I think for the price you can't go wrong here. I'm going to replace it with a metal net soon but I got my money's worth on this big time.

not very sturdy

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. The stick only lasted a couple minutes before it broke in half.

Big hit in our household

I was hesitant to purchase this after reading the reviews. I decided to go for it and I’m so happy I did. This was bought as an Easter gift. My boys, ages 5-10 absolutely love it! They play with it daily and it’s still in one piece. It’s a decent size for the boys to try and score on each other. It’s not difficult to assemble, you just can’t cram the pieces together or they will break. I don’t think this is suitable for younger - toddler aged children as it would break if they would jump or fall on it. It’s only made of plastic. I bought the small foam hockey balls to play with rather then the plastic puck as it can go flying some times, I’m less worried that the balls will break somethings.

The boy loved the unit and I’m pleased

It was for my grandson He loved it as far as I know. I did not install the unit but no complaints from my son who did the installation.

Strong and Sturdy

Bought for my son as he wants to play Ice Hockey and this goal is great for practice outside. Really well built and between my son and I we got this up and built in about 20 minutes. Really solid and hopefully will last us a long time.
