Almost perfect but...
First off I want to say that this is been the most popular Christmas gift of 2018 in my house. So overall I am positive about this product. The scoreboard and the digital read as well as the sound effects and the ball return mechanism are all effective and fun. The only reason I did not give this five stars is because of two oversights. The bracket that holds the net to the door does not adjust for exterior door sizes so you are limited in terms of where you can put it. In my house for two best choices happen to be entry doors but we found a suitable third choice that allowed us to use the basket and have fun anyhow. The second knock is that the product uses four C batteries which were not included with the product. I would rather the makers add five dollars to the cost of the product and include the batteries. So overall I recommend this product but the buyer should know that they need to have a supply of batteries on hand and please make sure that your house has a good area for the basket to go up on a door that is not an entry door.

Really cool indoor hoop
First let me say to be careful with everything and don't just throw it together without checking instructions. We broke the piece that allows the net to connect to return ball machine so I had to improvise with a shoelace. It worked but it would look better had we not messed up the connector piece. The ball return shoots out the ball far so you don't need to be close. It shoots it hard so be careful standing right in front. Now the plus side of that is it likely will cause a few laughs. The first time we tested it my daughter was standing right in front and the ball hit her in the face. Not hard enough to really hurt but hard enough we were all laughing hysterically. The score counter doesn't work as well as I'd like since it often doesn't seem to cause the metal pin to compress when the ball passes through. This was a Christmas gift and has gotten a lot of use by my Kid's and still works well from a launching the ball perspective. very solid overall construction and the battery lasts a long time before replacement is needed. It is very stiff so not a dunking type indoor hoop like the older cheaper nerf style. Great purchase that I'd buy again.

Let me start by saying this I have a 9 year old nephew who is picky about everything and when I showed him that this was going to be his 9th birthday gift he wasn't happy he thought it wasn't cool lololol. I was sooo not happy that he didn't like it and I had already ordered it. But once it came in the mail and he opened it and sit it up this kid has not stop playing with it. We didn't even sit up the bottom part where it throws the ball back because he just wanted to start playing. We also have a 1year old in the house who loves to just throw stuff and throwing a ball somehow is funny and entertaining lol so we place the hoop on the back of a chair so he can reach and they both have the most amazing time laughing at each other. The only thing I would say bad about this product is that it's not dunk proof. A 9 year favorite thing to do is the Michael Jordan dunk and he can't do that because the piece that holds the hoop is plastic and can break if you dunk to hard other then that the product is amazing.

Pretty Decent hoop
It's hard to find a good one of these and although this one still has many flaws it is better than a lot of the other junk out there. Mine didn't come with rubber bands to hold the net in place so when i scored the ball flew out in it's own path and not the returning tube it's supposed to. My friend has one and says even his doesn't always go through the return whole make you make a shot. As far as functionality, it has a cool timer that you can turn off and on. Battery lasts fairly long. Hangs easily on any door or edge and looks cool. Great quality and build and the ball is perfect - foamy yet bouncy enough and size is good enough to fit kids hands and adults or are playing along. One of the better basket hoops on the market but not perfect. Sure beats those cheap nerf ones you can hang behind your door though.

A very good toy if only the sensor was a little more sensitive.
My son finally got to unwrap this on Christmas day and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. It would have been cooler if the backboard was made of the clear plexi that is shown on the picture but that would be nit-picking. The construction is durable and the toy itself has quite a heft to it. The motor that shoots the ball back makes a slight rumble but some of the noise actually comes from the rattling of the door on which it's hung. I love the spring back of the hoop and the ball is a nice solid rubber (which could cause injury if the ball return mechanism shoots it at someone's face - note to parents to take a supervisory role with younger kids). Both my kids (girl aged 9 and boy aged 11) loved playing with it. One small note though - the sensor that detects the ball score isn't very sensitive but I think that can be modified with a bit of plastic. Great toy!!! - explains why it was out of stock when I wanted to place an order for it.

This is a nice toy but requires a bit of modification. When you shoot the ball and got in the basket, the roller that spits the ball out stops. You have to wait a few seconds to let the roller run before shooting through the basket again. If you don't, the ball will get stuck in the roller. Either wise, it does it's job.

Works great, but doesn't have a momentary switch
It kicks the ball back about 5', however the ball return is on an on/off switch and is really loud. Would have been 100x better with a momentary switch that is activated when the ball hits the return.

Lots of fun!
Super easy to use. Hours of fun for the kids. Comes with one ball but we use other balls as well. Highly recommended. Even my five year old can use it. Shorter kids need help reaching the on/off switch.
