Its Metal, but.

I purchased the Professional model because the plastic kits always crack and break. This one is made out of steel. The first time I went to put it together I couldn't, the pieces were too tight to push together even with all of my body weight, the problem was the seams/welds on the tubing. The welding that holds the pipers together as well are beginner level for sure, very rough. After hodge podging the kit together, my niece and I played for a game or two. The metal pipes got dented really easily. I've been since looking for a rubber ball replacement. I then took the kit apart, and ground down the metal seams on the piping so that they fit together without needing a gym membership, or a hammer. That helped a bunch. I am still looking for rubber golf balls to prevent denting of the kit. Personally I thought this was a good idea, but after opening it and using it for 4 games, I regret my purchase. Perhaps Franklin can revise this setup, and get me the new version without the flaws. Its still fun to play, but knowing that after a year or more of play you'll have a dented setup is depressing. Avoid the metal kids and get a plastic kit, at least those you can replace the plastic parts.

Fun game, poor quality

I wanted to love this. It’s such a fun game. Unfortunately I detest this set. The pieces aren’t round, they’re angular, which in theory could make this great. It doesn’t. The pieces were more than a pain to get together. Some wouldn’t come out once in, others wouldn’t stay in. We had to hammer it together, but now we can’t unassemble, so storage is a pain. In hammering, one piece cracked. We weren’t hitting hard, just tapped it in. Instructions were missing two pages. Set falls frequently. Positives: the balls were good and weighted, two pieces are weighted to, in theory, keep the ladder standing.

Poor quality

Plastic colored bars came crooked and are glued to the side connector so they cannot be straightened out. Used once and one of the connector pieces is already cracked. Very poor quality for the cost.

Fun light Weight game ,great for the whole family

great for the whole family We got our first set of one of these when our girls were four and five, it was super easy for them to play and understand ended up losing that set an got this one, it’s very light weight but yet still sturdy easy to take camping or to the beach or family outing , well we mainly played with the kids during the day everybody grab A adult beverage and all The adults also enjoyed it for a few hours in the evening good fun , we will definitely take it with again

Great yard game!

Bought this at Christmas. Now that the weather is warmer competition is underway! Anyone can play this game but some people will get the hang of it (no pun intended) quicker than others. Unexpected throws can look like they’re going to stay on the rung but sometimes the balls stay in motion and fling themselves away and off the rung all on their own. The reactions to that are priceless. Worth buying-this set is very sturdy and we didn’t really need to stake each ladder into the grass. They stay upright just fine without doing that. Have fun!

fun family game for the price

this game was fun to play and easy to understand. nice that it can be packed away during winter months. I will say the Joints that hold the bottom legs on do come unsnapped on occasion if it falls over or it hit too hard, hopefully they won't break off after repeatedly being pushed back together. its very light weight but seems to take the punishment of the balls being tossed pretty hard at it. all in all a good buy and fun time for the price

Fun but no bag.

A lot of fun & very lightweight, tha kfully it comes with ground spikes. However, one of the pictures shows a bag, there is no bag. It comes dirty in a cardboard box. Wiped it down with a damp rag before putting it together.

Hours of fun for my wife and I.

We love this game. Easy to setup, rules aren't difficult and easy to store when done. Good product that we will get plenty of use out of.

cheap - fell apart

Basically fell apart as soon as it was together. Not sturdy at all. Cheap plastic. Wasn't bad to put together but why waste the time if it's just going to fall apart. My mom glued it together and it still fell apart. Went into the garbage after the season.

Very disappointed

Came in just a cardboard box, no bag or anything to later place it in. The components are all scratched up and dust and there is glue everywhere. Very disappointed in the product. Product is also not very sturdy.

Solide, mais pas facile à monter

Le jeu est solide et entre bien dans le sac fournit. Le jeu fonctionne très bien. Bémol, il est difficile à assembler et désassembler car les tuyaux n'entrent pas bien l'un dans l'autre possiblement à cause des couches de peinture. Il faut forcer suffisamment pour prévenir à les décoller ou les rentrer. Mes ados et ma femme ont beaucoup de difficulté avec.

A little flimsy and can come apart easily, but solid when together properly. It's a great hit with the grandchildren.

A fun game

The game is easy to assemble. Although it is made of plastic, it does not tip over (weighted base). Only had it for a couple of months but it seems like it will last for quite awhile.
