Cheap more fun for 3-5year olds

Cheap made for more inside mini hockey definitely not for street outdoor hockey. For little kids or 5-8 year old inside mini hockey.

Knee hockey goalie gear

Strictly for indoor use with soft foam balls. Not for street hockey as they will not hold up or offer necessary protection. Quality was better than expected based on reviews. Leg pads are nice, easily adjustable and work well. The blocker offers a full glove and is very rigid. The catching glove is the biggest disappointment as the pocket is very shallow and you cannot really catch with it, merely for swatting. My son has gone back to using a baseball glove but that is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Overall I think it works for what it is designed to do which is play indoor knee hockey any other use will likely not work out well. If the catching glove actually worked it would be perfect.

NOT FOR STREET HOCKEY!!!

Perfect for what I wanted, knee hockey in the basement with my 8 year old. These would fall apart on pavement or asphalt. very flimsy. Again we play in the basement with foam NHL balls, anything other kind of ball or puck would not work as the glove and blocker are not well made. My biggest complaint is also my own fault. I ASSUMED while looking at that the picture of these online it came with 2 gloves and 2 blockers, one for a righty and one for a lefty. As my son wears his glove on the right hand, he is forced to try to play as a right handed goalie.

my son is happy and the price was right

You get what you pay for. I knew this going in. Bought for my hockey obsessed three year old to wear around the house as dress up. Just with that wear the blocker tore apart. The leg pads twist around and don't stay in place. However, my son is happy and the price was right. Not for actual hockey use though. Good size for 3-5 yr old only.

Great for young hockey players

My 8 year old grandson picked this out for one of his birthday gifts and he loves it. He plays hockey and has all the real gear but can't use it without the ice. This is perfect for his driveway games.

Cheap material, thin knee pads, glove ripped same day

Not as nice as we thought. We bought our son new ones bc his old ones were getting worn. Well, the worn ones are better quality and he went right back to wearing his old ones. The knee pads are thin and the gloves ripped the same day (Christmas). This was a Christmas present.

Grandson loved it!

My 7 year old grandson got this for Christmas and he was so excited. He immediately put it on and could not wait to play. He and his buddy turned the garage into a hockey rink.

Very light weight which is good for my 5 yr old but the pads are ...

Not as well made as I expected. Very light weight which is good for my 5 yr old but the pads are not flexible enough for him to move around playing road hockey. We also cannot take shots at him with even a tennis ball. Not enough protects. My son however loves wearing the gear all over the house!

not worth it!

Not worth the money,cheaply made bought better quality at Canadian Tire for less money. Paid over 80 for these and they only wanted to give a partial refund of $10 because of a 20% restocking fee. I would like to give you no stars but it wouldnt let me. NO STARs for you dealkings

This set is great! Our son was thrilled with it. However we were somewhat disappointed it did not arrive in the colours pictured. The set we received is navy and bright green.

cheap quality

cheap quality -- especially the blocker -- after my kids used it for a day the blocker glove stiches became undone - the straps are always loose on the pads
