Bought for my 12 year old daughter

They fit her good we got a small I should got a medium because her thighs are thick but they will work for this year. Great for the money that's for sure.

Too small for adult men

Returning due to not able to really fit right. My hands are large but the straps are too short another inch and i would have kept them

Good padding for youth, stitching worries me about longevity of product

This review is specifically for the Youth size. These pads fit my 10 you girls who are kind of skinny and petite fairly well, but do fit a little on the tight side. The description's sizing is fairly accurate, so if you're not within that range it would be better to buy the next size up or something else altogether. The thumb hole of the wrist guard is only 1 inch across which might be tight on some kids. We actually haven't gotten to use them outside yet, but we did try them on for size. The stitching has me a bit worried about how long these would actually last when used. As you can see from one of the photos, the stitching is already loose between the two pieces nylon (not on the elastic material) on one of the knee pads, but so far that knee pad seems to be the exception compared to the rest. I do prefer the slide on sleeves, although it does make it more challenging to put on over clothing and gets too warm in the summertime, but does help a lot with chafing from the velcro and straps when wearing shorts. As for padding, the wrist guards have NO padding on any part of them, the knees and elbow pads have lots of padding on the contact side and the elbow pads have additional padding between the plastic guard and the padded sleeve.

This review is for Franklin Sports Youth/Adult Knee Pads, Elbow Pads, Wrist Guards 3 in 1 Protective Set for Skate Protective - Skateboard - Biking. The kiddos have just taken up rollerblading and needed a good way to protect their wrists, elbows and knees. This Franklin set is well made and will fit for many years as our kiddo can grow into these items. Coupled with a helmet they haver complete protection while rollerblading. This set works great for biking, skateboarding and even ice skating. The set is comfortable to wear and comes with a nice carrying case. Overall, this is a great set at an affordable price from a well known manufacture. Hopefully this review helped you make an informed decision! Thanks for reading my review.

Great for my six year old grandson

My grand got a skate board for Christmas so this set was a must. The set fit him well and protected his little body. I was surprised he took to them as he is on the spectrum, but he understood that the equipment was necessary and put up no fuss when he also found that everything was comfortable. Love that it comes with a bag to keep everything together!

Slightly snug on my almost 12 year old twins, but at least gimme a year!

My twins are turning 12 in 5 days. They are fairly average in size. A tad tall (for girls), slightly muscular from gymnastics, but quite slender. These are not going to last for years, let’s just say. Maybe I should size up to adult sizes already??? I don’t know! I don’t have much room for tightening with these, but they will work for now. I hope to get a year of use, at least. Hopefully, their last growth spurt was the last for awhile ????. One can only hope & pray. But all kidding aside, this brand, Franklin Sports, has always been a trusted brand for my family. This set is VERY well-made and constructed of all seemingly, top quality materials. It appears as though they will stand up to some rough and tumble falls, but let’s pray we won’t see any! It comes with everything that you need, minus the helmet. Not a bad value! We go skating weekly, so having our own wrist guards is essential, and my twins love to use electric skateboards and hoverboards, so this is important for us to have. These girls are utterly fearless, but not mom ????. I will buy a second set. If I get a year’s worth of protection for each.. I’ll be happy. More? I’ll be elated! It could happen! Nice merchandise for children’s safety in sports! It’s a great set! Wish I had them sooner! 4.25 stars for quality-value- included content- fit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ I hope that my review has proven helpful :).

Youth size fits preteens and younger

I recommend this set of Franklin Sports Youth for preteen and younger only, although youth has the notion of fitting older kids. I find that if it's very snugly for my preteen, and cannot imagine it fitting teenagers. It comes with a pair of protective gear for the elbows, knees, and wrists at a youth price of around $22, which is not a bad deal. That's padding more on the wrists and elbows versus the knees.
