fun game - hilarious if you have a rumba

This isn't a bad toy. The mats are durable (even to twirling), the pieces are big enough to play with small children...However, do NOT leave them alone with the pieces. Its a little dated and you have to remember the rules of checkers and be willing to deal with kids fighting over checkers, stealing them and running off. For anyone that own a rumba (or mechanical vacuum device) do not let it near this game. Maybe, its my rumba. I am not sure. I do know there is a small war between it and my granddaughter. She fusses at it, it steals a toy, she cries, it spits it out...wash repeat. I pretty much had to banish the poor tech to the laundry room when she visits. So here was the situation. Me (KiKi), Grandson (7) & Granddaughter (18mo) are fake playing this game. Basically, they believe we are playing, I know we are making up all kinds of rules but its fun and the baby can't eat the checkers. During our event, and unbeknownst to me, my rumba decided to start its daily sweep of the house. The baby noticed and literally gave it the "NoNo finger" wave...(where you tick-tock wave your pointer finger while saying no no). Sounds so sweet, apparently the rumba took it as some type of Alpha challenge. It stopped, honestly I believe it glared at her, and turned towards us. Coincidence ...No that little sucker happily chirped and headed in our direction. The baby, is hiding behind her brother wagging her finger at the rumba and I am just looking at this thing like ...Really...you are so not going to come sweep a play game. Guess what ...Not only did the rumba go onto the mat it twirled...TWIRLED, then went back the way it came. Stole to pieces and spit them out in the kitchen.

Loads of fun

This is perfect for all ages. I use it at the nursing homes when providing entertainment. The senior citizens look forward to the games weekly. Everything is super large. Very easy to view for senior citizens. The colors are nice, bright and inviting. The pieces fit nicely in hands. Most of the seniors couldn't really pick up the regular game show tabs but the size of these chips are perfect. It is also a great way to keep our citizens focused and keep them working on their motor skills. The game offers loads of fun and because the chips are so big, it's a little difficult to lose the chips. The mats portable, just roll and go. My only little ity bity negative is that you can only play one game at a time because it's only one set of chips meaning, If i'm playing connect 4 with someone then another group can't play checkers because the chips are being used playing connect 4. I wish each game with it's on set of chips. Regardless, It provides stimulation for the seniors in the nursing home and for that it deserves 1000 stars

Nice game mat

This is a decent game mat. It's soft sided and easy to store. It wipes clean, so it's good for camping or outside b/c it's mostly plastic and the easily wiped mat. The games are basic: checkers and 4-in-a-row. Overall, nice little game mat.

Not Just A Indoors Game Anymore

Supersize me, now the two games can be played outside at any given occasion. The huge pucks come in two colors for easy identification. I have the smaller version of both and this outdoor one is going to get well used over time. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!

Durable Family Game Mat

A large 36in x 36in play mat is very soft and stretchy. It feels like a neoprene material. Can be wiped cleaned. It’s double sided and comes with 4 in a row on one side and checkers or chess if you like on the other. Has 21 yellow and 21 blue pucks with 2 scoring chips. The pucks are smooth on one side and has a small imprint on the other which could be use as labeling a king in chess. This mat is great for all ages. You can roll the mat up with all the pucks inside for easy storage. Very well made and can see it lasting many family nights.

Great set for checkers and four-in-a-row

The mat works great on a dining room table; simple to setup and get started. The material and printing on the mat is high quality. The pucks (game pieces) don't feel cheap at all and the plastic is solid and durable. The pieces are blank on one side and have an "F" embossed on the other so you flip them over during play to designate the kings for chess. If you fold the edges just right before rolling up the mat with the pieces sitting inside for easy storage.
