Good for one time use.

Good for a one time use. I had to tape the bottom to hold it in place. I used it for hard candy to look like jewels. No instructions. You can see faint crease lines in the pattern. I folded the tops away those lines to make the top curve like the picture shows. Not durable, but I didn't expect them to be for less than $2 a box. Colors are nice. There is also a cute touch. There is a little key printed on the inside of the box.

Great paper treasure chests with amazing attention to detail

I used these for a pirate themed gift basket and filled them with gold coins, mardi gras beads, gems (Hershey kisses in gemstone colors), and Hershey nugget chocolates that look like gold bars. The print on the boxes is very cute and I was surprised to see so much detail included. The top has designated creases for folding to help it get that rounded shape, which was very helpful. The "lock" is a tab on the top that secures to the base of the treasure chest and it looked really good! They are clearly decoration though. This isn't going to be a great box for any kind of storage or long term use. It's a novelty item and would be great as a party favor.

Small but good!

Smaller than I thought it would be but I also didn’t realize it was a favor box so my fault but I will be using it this weekend for my daughters party and it’s still perfectly fine for what I need it for.

Very small and flimsy

I was expecting something a little larger. These are about 6 inches long...not big enough for the items with which I intended to fill them. I had to tape them together to get them to keep from folding back up, but even then not very sturdy (I did do it in a hurry for a treasure hunt, so I'm sure you could get them sturdier with enough time and tape!). For the price, I was willing to gamble, and would have been fine if I was just planning to fill them with gold coins or chocolate!

Perfect inexpensive pirate themed party favor container

I was looking for something to hold an assortment of lottery tickets as a prize. This fit the bill perfectly. It's made of cardboard and folds from flat to formed very easily. It could easily hold some candy, plastic toys, or other small items as a child's party favor.

I knew these weren't going to be very sturdy but they wouldn't even lay flat on the table. I used them for centerpieces at my son's pirate birthday party and had coins and necklaces spilling out of it so it helped hold it down. This was what I was looking for when I bought centerpieces but if I had had more time to plan I would have probably looked for something else.

Only 4 stars because the were too small to put anything in. Thought they were bigger but that was my fault for not reading the size correctly.
