Excellent knives
These are excellent knives. I have been finishing out my complete set little by little, buying a package of each piece at a time. They're pricey but so darn worth it. Beautiful shine to them. They're very highly polished. Handles are weighty and thick. The design in on both sides and neither side is flat. There is nothing flimsy about them at all. They're great for steaks and other meats and can be used as a butter knife if you wish. This brand and design is high quality. You will not ever need to buy another set. They do not tarnish or spot. You can put them in the dishwasher and they come out perfect every time with no damage or discoloration. Just always make sure that food is rinsed off of your silver ware, no matter what brand you have, before you put it into the dishwasher - food on them is what causes a lot of the spots and discolorations, believe it or not. I have no complaints about these or any of the other pieces in this line. Excellent in every way.

Excellent, excellent, excellent!
The dessert/oval soup spoon is actually a table spoon. Just FYI. These are BEAUTIFUL. Very, very high shine. Very solid and weighty. This is silverware to last a lifetime. Resists rust and stains. Does not discolor or get black marks like some other stainless steel flatware does. Even though they have just a simple design on the handle, they are just gorgeous and excellent quality! I have never seen such shiny silverware in my life. The handle is thick, and that helps make them look so nice. I was so impressed when I opened the package. I was wanting smaller teaspoon size, and thought that's what dessert size would be, but they are actually large tablespoon size. I will keep them though since I was planning to complete the entire set anyway. These will match ANY dinnerware style and are perfect for fancy or casual use. I wish I would have bought these years ago before spending so much replacing silverware sets many times over the years. These are made for longevity!

Perfect set of replacement spoons
These spoons match the set we received off our wedding registry from Crate and Barrel. In the store you have to buy the full serving to get the spoons so I was disappointed that i was missing spoons and could not just purchase that item from crate and barrel. I found this on Amazon and ordered right away. They are a perfect match, same weight, design look and feel. Very happy with my purchase and even happier that once again have all 12 teaspoons in my silverware collection.

Not as pictured
We ordered a set of 12 spoons as replacemens for ones from our wedding registry at Crate and Barrel (back in 2010). On receiving the new set, I noticed that the Fortessa stamp, present on the round part of the original spoons, and shown in the product picture here on Amazon, was missing. In comparison to the original, there are also slight differences in the shape of the spoon itself, the handle, and the weight. The mark on the back is present, but it's also different from the original. While I have considered the spoons may be counterfeit, it's also possible that there are just subtle differences from something that was manufactured 13 years ago. We haven't used them, so have yet to find out if they match the originals in terms of durability. This is still a nice set of spoons at a reasonable price. Probably few people would notice the differences. However, since they are missing the mark set into the utensil that makes them so unique, they are not a true replacement. This is frustrating and misleading, because the advertising image does show the stamp on the product listing.
