They fit well in the hand with substantial weight

We used these in one of our favorite restaurants and loved them. Found them on Amazon and they are now our daily flatware. We enjoy them every day. Only bad thing is the restaurant set had a little stamp inside the flat areas of the forks and spoons, like the mark you see on silverware. These did not have them. I called Fortessa and they explained they stopped doing this a while back. Just made them look a little classier. Does not detract from the quality or value.

Heavy and stylish

Only thing to think about here is that they are heavy so they will fall off a plate you’re carrying pretty easily. These were used at a resort we stayed at and we loved the style and found them. Great brand and beautiful set!

I'm not sure about this!

I bought two 20 piece boxes of the Lucca Faceted from a retail store. It is very beautiful but very spendy for flatware. I then thought to check Amazon and was surprised to find it and at a better price! I opted to try the "used" for additional savings, thinking it would just be the box that wasn't in perfect condition and that didn't matter to me. I ordered one 20 piece setting and checked each piece carefully and compared it to the set from the retail store. I found a couple of flaws: a scratch or two, and a rusty looking discoloration on a few pieces. Also, each piece from the retail store has a tiny stamp on it, on the front of the fork. The set from Amazon doesn't. I don't know if that means anything. Other than that, they seem exactly the same. Not wanting flawed pieces though, I returned the set and reordered, this time going with the "New" option. I will check this new setting and see how it looks.

Chips easily but beautiful

I originally purchased this product to treat myself to a nice set of flatware. I was very excited when I received it because they are beautiful. I love the way they feel in the hand and have a nice weight to them. I really thought I would keep these forever but then this morning as I was using the fork a piece of the handle slivered off and fell into my food. If I was not paying attention I would’ve eaten this and a piece of metal could’ve gotten lodged inside of me. Luckily I was paying attention and immediately picked up the sliver and felt it was a metal piece. Upon inspecting the fork I noticed that it had chipped off of there. Very unhappy because they cost a little bit more than a normal sad and I expected more from Fortessa. Unfortunately I will be returning the entire set because now I don’t feel comfortable eating with something that can chip.

Great flatware. Highly recommend.

I’ve had these for a year now and I’d like to address then”spotting” others are seeing on their butter knife blades. I found it only happens when you wash them and don’t dry them. If you hand wash them and leave them in the silverware drainer any water drop that dries on the blade leaves a mark. But the mark isn’t permanent. If you wash them in the dishwasher and add the heated dry cycle they do not spot. If the heated dry cycle is wasteful to you energy wise just wipe the blades with a warm damp towel and towel dry them. Voila. I used them for all three meals every day for a year and they look brand new still. Before the pandemic my dinner guests would always compliment them.

Tabletop eye candy

This flatware is really a good value for the price. It has a nice weight (feels like a quality product), looks great and is nicely balanced. I was a little concerned about washing given the intricate pattern on the handles but the product seems to clean very nicely in the dishwasher. The Fortessa Lucca flatware is a very nice upgrade for everyday flatware and is elegant enough for more formal dining as well.

Fun, stylish flatware

I had seen this silverware in the Sur la Table store and decided it was finally time to upgrade from the hand me downs from Mom and Dad. This silverware is really fun. Feels heavy (in a good way), very shiny and makes a statement but not "loud" or gaudy. I wish the salad and dinner forks were a bit more different in size; they are almost the same and it makes it hard to quickly figure out what goes where in your drawer. Also, one of my spoons got slightly tarnished after only a couple uses; I'm not sure if this was due to my dishwasher, but I didn't expect this to happen so soon after purchase. I'm hoping it was just a fluke as the rest of the pieces look great. I am not especially trendy or urbane, but this flatware makes me feel like I COULD be, if I ever get the urge to throw a dinner party! Very happy with my purchase overall.

It is a beautiful set. The weight and size are great and they look fantastic. Everybody that has seen them has commented on them. Bought 2 sets of four services. Thrilled with my purchase.

Elegant and classy.

It is aesthetically very impressive and the design is well sculpted. It has unusual and very simple but pleasing and yet sophisticated design. However, what was somewhat disappointing is that the smaller pieces are a little too small and the larger pieces a little too big. It lacks that perfect balance. George
