FYI Derailleur Hanger Fit

This hanger seemed well made. If you have tried to replace a broken hanger for an older/discontinued bicycle or one that has been rebranded you know the challenge of finding the correct replacement. This hanger does not fit the old and discontinued Kinley SX Pro which is, I believe, a rebranded Kona mountain bike. Just FYI.

Fits perfectly on a Motobecane CX

I bought a Motobecane CX from an online bike shop a couple of years ago. Last week, my u-lock fell out of its bracket mid-ride and tore up the derailleur and hanger. The online site listed this piece for $22, and I would've bought it if they didn't have a stock out. Fortunately, I widened my search criteria without the bike model and I found it for almost half that on Amazon. I wasn't sure if the hanger fit, but just in case anyone else has a similar situation, this is the one you want for a Motobecane CX. Part feels solid enough to last, but I hope I don't have to test its functionality any time soon since these are designed to break under stress to save the frame.

Just What I Needed!

The derailleur hanger broke on my Hyper Explorer 29 purchased from Walmart a few years ago and I had trouble finding a replacement. This part is very specific to the frame and local bike shops didn't have an equivalent. I called the manufacturer and they no longer had a matching part available as their frame designs had changed. Luckily I found this one (Style #3) and it's a perfect fit. Equal in quality to the original, so I highly recommend this item.

Good quality replacement hanger

When compared to the stock hanger that came on my bike it feels a lot more sturdy and durable, the workmanship on the edges of the fittings was also superior. The stock hanger felt like it was completely hollow, its no wonder it bent so easily from a stationary tip over.

good quality and as described. all for a good price. took a little bit of work with the dremel to get it to fit but it works like a charm
