screws for the leg bracket were missing, replaced with black finish hex cap screws w/ lock washers from the local hardware store. easy enough. Don't forget they are metric, 6 or 8 mm., i forget which, by 1/2" long. This is for my reloading bench. The swivel was specifically what i wanted. very strong w/ the center bracket attached. comfortable wood seat. 26" high with seat screwed down.

Easy assemble, love the stools

Industrial/Farmhouse look - sturdy/functional

This Flash Furniture barstool couldn’t be any easier to assemble. Screw on the seat and done—except there is a little ‘bar’ thing that I almost missed as it was taped to the packaging around the seat screw thing—and I never could figure out what to do with it; it didn’t fit in the one hole I saw, but the seat seems to work without it. Still, puzzling. The legs are sturdy, and you can put your feet on the added inner metal things. It has an interesting design. It fits in with the two barstools I already have (I wanted one different one for interest) —that industrial/farmhouse look. I put floor protectors on the bottoms of the legs so the stool would slide easier and not scratch. The seat is heavier than the seat on the two barstools I have; this is a good solid wood. The seat swivels nicely. If I had one thing I didn’t care for is the color of the seat as it has reddish tones—it’s pretty but I was hoping it would be closer in color to the seats on my other two barstools. However, the color is nicely done, and the ‘black’ metal is nice. I have mine screwed nearly all the way down as that’s the height of my other stools. It can go up pretty high but I have mine at about 27 inches, which seems to be the lowest. All in all a nice barstool for the price.

Simple, easy, adjustable.

Have you ever had a piece of furniture that came with instructions that were lacking? And you had some head scratching to get it together? Complete polar opposite here. These come nearly totally assembled. All you have to do is take it out of the box, take off the protective padding, and thread the seat post into the frame. So they come with an assembly instruction sheet. I have no idea WHY they come with an instruction sheet. Because here's one place that, if the instructions were missing from the box completely, you'd never notice. There IS no "assembly" save for 1 step. So, honestly, if this company wants to save .5 cents on every one of these stools? Just omit the instruction sheet. Nobody needs it. Seriously. It sits nice and flat (no wobble) and, frankly, goes WAY higher than I'LL ever need. I honestly have it nearly all the way down. It's quite high enough in most circumstances. If you're a taller individual looking for a taller bar stool? Well stop looking because you found it. I can imagine an average NBA player would have enough height here to use. It's a solid, well built bar stool with gobs of height capability and nearly zero assembly. Comfort is what you'd expect from a flat piece of un-contoured un-padded wood. I think it's great. I may order another so I have a set.

Cool looking well made barstool

Flash Furniture 30" Barstool with Adjustable Wood Seat I really like the way this barstool looks. It has a nice industrial design. It's heavy and well made. The issues I have are that the wood seat edges that aren't rounded and it kind of hurts after sitting for a while. The other is the pin that you need to install for the screw mechanism while being very difficult to insert sticks out a lot. If you have your feet on the ledge it can scrape the back of your ankle and it doesn't feel great.

Sturdy industrial bar stool

This is a quality stool. It comes in a box almost fully assembled. The only thing you need to do is attach the seat (instructions are included). This is a sturdy stool. The seat is heavy wood with a distressed finish. It is lovely. I like the metal base with the decorative footrest. It adjusts to various heights. I like that it goes up high enough for my new industrial desk. I just love the industrial look. It is versatile in that it can be used as a stool or a plant stand. I can use this at my desk or my puzzle table. This is a well-crafted, durable stool.

Versatile Industrial Look

I love the look of this quirky "bar stool" . It looks even better in person than the seller's photos. The design is industrial chic, but would make an attractive focal point in a beach or farmhouse decor, also. I am using it as a plant stand / entryway table because it looks so great. The dark wood "seat" shows the texture of the woodgrain and has a soft sheen. I think this piece is so versatile that it would be perfect for an apartment or dorm to use as a stool, side table, or even stain a bigger wood circle and place it on top as a larger table. The height is adjustable as you spin the seat around.

Great quality, good range of height option

Very little assembly needed... just attach/screw in the top. One added safety feature is a pin that is inserted into the seat screw which keeps you from 'unscrewing' the stool so far that it comes out. To adjust height, you simply turn the seat, either by hand or turn while sitting on it. It's super sturdy and looks great. (as pictured.) If I use this as seating at a bar, I'll want to order another. I feel $100 for one is on the high side, but if this is perfect for your decor, the quality makes it worth it. Would go well with any farmhouse or industrial decor. For now, we're using as a perfect gig stool in our music room.
