Good lightweight torch
I use this to do detail weed burning in and around flower beds and shrubbery that my big torch would be inappropriate. It is perfect for that and hitting the isolated weed or two in the lawn. It is good for smaller jobs that require more precision. It is lightweight, ignites easily, and if you don't turn it too high, a 1lb propane canister will last a sufficient amount of time. This is not the tool for large jobs, so buy with the right expectation in mind.

Cooks weeds
Lights easy with built in igniter( lit torch 15-20 times over last 6 months, no problems with it). Used it to destroy weeds, fire ant mounds, light fire in fire pit, light fireworks(keeps you further away for safety), melted ice on walkway. Well balanced, nice grip

Works, burns a lot of fuel
Item took a long time to arrive. When it did, it was obviously a return because the box was marked return to Amazon. The entire handle and tube had surface rust and there was melted plastic all over the burner end. Thanks to whoever used this carelessly and then returned it, you are part of the problem. The ignition barely works, but I have a better sparker anyway. This thing works great otherwise, lots of heat, but the small bottle goes quickly, so don’t think your gonna do a fence line. Quick weed burning only or gentle heat to bend pvc conduit or the like. I decided to keep it even though it was used.

Small but Effective!
Make sure you don't have any dry leaves around! You may have to go over stubborn weeds two times but the next day they're gone! And no chemicals around the pets! If you are careful with this, it really does a good job. Keep a hose handy just in case! BTW the lighter worked once and died - but it's just as easy to light with the common cigarette lighter.

Perfect for weeds & starting the hibachi!
This product worked exactly as described. Cheap, easy and safe. The attached flint starter was a great plus. I use it for edging the driveway grass, sidewalk weed control and starting charcoal in the hibachi! Very happy with this purchase!

Wasn't sure what I was getting into but...
It works great. The balance between the fuel and the rod is just right. The flame toasts weeds quickly and easily. I love the starter switch that doesn't need batteries or matches so you can use it anywhere anytime. The flame can get large if you open the fuel valve all the way, or very accurate if you use it with the normal amount of fuel opening. All in all, for the price I think it will work out great for killing my weeds.

Awesome while it worked...
I loved this, I used a mini 1lb propane tank and cleared my ditches and property of all the nasty weeds... The fifth time I went to use it to start a campfire and the igniter had taken a crap... After doing research about this issue, come to find out this is a very well known product defect that the company has no intention of fixing... So to fix it you will have to spend $20-$30 on their brand specific igniter, it will work about as well as the original, every 5 uses, need to replace the igniter... This is about as honest of a review you will find for an item...

This thing rocks!!!! BURN BABY BURN!
Lots of people saying the starter won't work, you can't open it full blast then start it. You start slow for the right air to fuel mix then turn it up. Also if you smother the flame it will obviously turn off. Air and fuel=fire. Enjoy y'all.

BURNS great, starts great, good cane height for tall people 6ft (1.83m)
I am 6 ft tall (1.83m) and with the tip down next to my foot I still keep my elbow a bit bent, which means NO LEANING FORWARD! I can stand straight when burning the weeds. Burning is awesome, strong even to medium or small setting, was worried it would shut off due to wind (Canada, eh :-) but no worries about that. You can use it even in a storm on the higher setting (never tried, but if feels like it). Product feels of good quality, looks like stainless steel, which is very expensive if it is so. Did not do the magnet test though to verify. The handle has the plastic ridges which give more control. A great yet useful toy! Go burn all weeds! Important: you can not only burn on patios, but also burn the seeds of dandelions, when they turn white and are ready to fly in the wind. One 5 mins walk and you killed all the seedlings without damaging the grass, just the white fluffy tips.

Great for in between patio stones and rocks.
I really like it. Takes longer for alive. But after a couple days they were gone. Price was very good. I am using the small green canisters and it is fairly light and very easy to handle. I lost the instructions and found the ignition on the pole. You can get an attachment for large propane tanks but I do not have that. I would buy as a gift. The size of a walking cane.

Easy to use and light weight
This tool works perfectly and I was nervous to use it. It is so lightweight that it doesn't get heavy in your hand or on your arm. Honestly a great tool for interlocking driveways when the weeds make their way through and you don't like to treat them with any type of weed killer. Great purchase.
