Not bad for a cheatly built flag pole.

I hesitated for a bit to write a review on this product;I`m still having some trouble with it, for I had been troubleshooting everything that I could think of. I figured it was users error and it still could be. The rings on this pole, for me does not allow my very lightweight flag to switch with the wind, (and it just dawned on me, maybe that`s my problem), maybe a heavier flag would put weight on it and it would work. I separated the 4 rings at the top and bottom and I squished then up closer to each other and still nothing. I got one ring to work so only half of the flag spins as the wind changes,but the whole flag will eventually wrap around the pole. I wonder if I could find a metal ring and maybe it would work better. I don`t know what I`m doing wrong. It was all I could afford.

Works, but wish it had adjustable mount.

It’s light weight, works & does the job but I wish the mount that you screw to a pole or house was adjustable so you could change the angle/ degree you want it to hang at. The eagle is a little cheapy plastic too. Would be nice if it was metal, but you can’t tell when it’s up. Does the job but could be improved. Not that big a deal though. Had it hanging in rain, snow and ice storms and it holds up. But the pole does twist around in moderate winds. Doesn’t mess up the flag, but turns the eagle around. Not a big deal, but a slight annoyance.

Very light duty

The pole is made of very light guage aluminum..The flag pole rings are very light guage plastic as well. I was expecting something a bit more heavy. The eagle on top of the pole is very shiny and stands out. I just set it out on a windy day and hope it will hold up.. It is defininely not made for long term outdoor use.

With some help, it works

What I will say right off the bat is that this pole and mount are not perfect, but we made it work. One thing to note for sure, it doesn't lock in place, when placed in the mount it's not a tight fit, so with any gust of wind the pole would move. Obviously, with there being an American flag on it, we were worried about it getting knocked out of the mount and inevitably falling. What we did was ran out to the hardware store and purchased a small wall strap to anchor the upper part of the pole to our roof trim. For us, this solved our issues, but would be nice if it wasn't needed. At the end of the day though, we have our flag up and no worries of it falling, so we chalk that up to a win.

Flag Pole

This is the best inexpensive flag pole I have used. I have two of them one in my front yard (flying the house flag) and the other in the Backyard (flying the Celtic Nations Flag). I am impressed how easy it is to adjust the clip to fit any flag size. and the eagle is always facing out, even when the flags blow in the wind. I recommend this pole for anybody that wants an easy to set up flag in their yard. I do plan on getting a third one to take with me when I set up my encampment at the Renaissance Faire Camping area. It is the easy to use.

sections of poles do not fit tight

The pole comes in three sections. To fit them together you put each the section ends into one another then twist them to lock them together but the fitting do not lock very well, and come apart. I bought 3 of them and all fit the same way. Other then that I am very satisfied with the poles.

falls apart when I bring it in at night

It would come apart when I removed it from the holder in the evening. The sections don't lock well

Lightweight

Very thin flimsy pole, only bought it because it fits in an old (stronger) wall bracket, but the pole still wobbles about in moderate winds, this is a very inferior aluminium plus the eagle on top is plastic, materially this is worth a quarter the price paid, next time I will gague quality by the weight as heavier = stronger, Finally the clips which hold the flag are too loose so the flag keeps wrapping itself round the pole which is annoying as it has top be unfurled several times a day

Good buy!

Arrived in time for Canada Day. Good size, like the gold eagle on top, pole is aluminum so it shouldn't rust. Comes with bracket so i can put it on my fence.

NOT FOR OUTDOOR USE.

Easy and quick to install but very flimsy. Bent with first string wind.
