Great for small spills

Some of the ones I received were a little light on the filler. Still absorb well. recently had a hot water heater bust and these guys took up most of the water. They dry back out easily. I’ve had two in rotation under my house for close to a year in a trouble spot and there is no mildew problem at all with them. Great product for the money.

Once they’re soggy, they’re gross!

These must be intended for one time use?? Put these by a leaky door to soak up moisture and ended up with soggy gross limp things! Maybe if you only needed something for a one time cleanup these would be fine, but don’t plan of leaving them in place for too long!

These are like little sponges.

I like we got 12 in a box. We really have not had a severe rain to test them, but that is good. They are like a bag of sponges to soak up water.

Works great

Every time we have a torrential rain, my bathroom in my apartment floods. These kept the water in the bathroom, kept it from spreading throughout the apartment I would highly recommend.

From great to ok.

I purchased these absorbent socks several times. The socks in my previous orders were great. They looked and felt flimsy, but they absorbed and held lots of water. I would then spin them in the washing machine to get the bulk water out, air dry them and reuse multiple times. After several uses, however, they began to get stiffer and less absorbent (which I fully expected) so I decided to re-order when I was down to my last few. The new batch I got in my last order was altogether different. Upon opening the box I found they had a new more robust looking and feeling sock material, and they felt a bit denser and more substantial than the previous. I assumed, then, that they somehow improved on an already great product. After the first use, however, I realized...not so much. They DO still absorb a ton of water. However, these new socks now allow the silicone material inside to leech out. This poses two problems: 1) they are messy to handle and leave some of that silicone material behind on the floor, and 2) I can no longer put them into the washer to spin out some of the bulk water to help them dry out quicker. You can see in my photos the difference between socks before and after water absorption (previous version on left, new version on right). These would have gotten the full 5 stars if I had written my review a month ago. But with this new version, I’ve got to knock it down. The last thing you want when trying to keep your basement dry in an all day downpour is to have that job get messier and more expensive.

I have some ice damming on my roof and some water is leaking into my dining room. I bought these to absorb it and they are working great. I dry them in the spin cycle of my washing machine. Great until I can deal with the roof problem this summer.

COMPLETE RIP OFF ! NO STARS !!!

THESE ARE A COMPLETE RIP OFF ! . Any good reviews for this product are either fabricated or written by customers who have clearly not used ones that actually work. i have been using similar products for years made by other companies to plant trees etc so they have a reserve of water THESE DO NOT WORK. WONT HOLD BARELY A 1/4 OF A GALLON OF WATER

No good.

These soak up the water the first one to two times then they are drenched and never dry out. They are a one-use product.

Super Absorbent

I have water coming into my basement from behind a wall. Until I am able to do the work to find and repair the foundation problem, these socks are keeping the water contained.

Nothing super about this product ! Product is not as discribed

The product I received was not a super absorbent flake sock. The sock is filled with recycled fibers that are not absorbent and do not hold fluids. This item is NOT what was advertised. This sock is absorbent however is will not absorb and hold fluids like a real flake sock.. I think they call it bait and switch.........
