Perfection
I love these scissors! I love how they can attach to the side of my fridge because of the magnet. The cover is nice to keep it clean. I will say the “eye” of the toucan pops off if the cover is all the way on. Still super cute!

Poor quality
This is my 2nd time ordering these shears and the 2nd pair whose “eye” broke off. This pair I’ve had less than a month. I owned a different brand in the past that lasted years so I thought my first were just a bad pair. Now I’m convinced they are just poor quality. They still work but don’t stay in the holder without the eye.

Working scissors, cute design
It’s a very cute pair of scissors. There are magnets of one side so you can stick it on...your fridge if it’s not a Subzero. But that’s ok, I just put it in a drawer...where other metal things will stick to it. Also, not a problem, you just pluck them off. The blue “eye” can off at the very first use, also not a problem, I just glued it back on with stronger glue. I love the “toucan” design. I believe Kikkerland (land of frogs - a nickname for the Netherlands), is a Dutch company. I love the name and the products, original with a sense of humour. Can’t have enough of that these days.

No frills, jut a cool pair of toucan clippers!
Had to get these. Was in need of a new pair of all-around scissors for the kitchen, and couldn't resist the toucan design. Love also that the cover has a magnet and I keep these on the fridge, so handy. Who knew a pair of scissors could make you smile.

These are the most useful shears........
I love these shears!!!! Not only are they decorative when sheathed, but the fact that they have an attached magnet makes it very accessible and ready to use. I have my shears on my refrigerator and they look bright and whimsical. They are very strong and sturdy with a sharp serrated edge. These would make a terrific gift as well!

A nice way to make the ordinary different and beautiful.
These would be ordinary kitchen shears--shorter, tougher, more versatile--than ordinary scissors if it wasn't for the beautiful and colorful toucan design. I didn't purchase them for myself or even for the person I'm giving them to to use as kitchen scissors. It is part of a coordinated gift in which I'm gifting a flower vase, marbles, and these scissors as a "flower arrangement" set. None of the flower cutters I could find made for an attractive and coordinated set, so I opted for these scissors which--by the way--are as gorgeous as they look in the picture. Since I didn't open the blister package, I can't attest as to the sharpness or other attributes, but they do look well made and finished and look as sharp and are as heavy as my best pair of kitchen scissors.

Great scissors, terrible covering
Very cute at first, got lots of compliments. But the paint of the toucan beak started coming off. I had never washed the covering because it wasn't ever used for anything. But I noticed one day that it felt sticky. I washed it and it was very clear right away that the paint was what was sticky. I had to throw away the cute protective covering that looks like a toucan beak. I kept it in a drawer where it was always safe. It never made contact with heat or anything that would cause it to fail. The scissors are great, the covering is terribly disappointing. I do not recommend this.

Feels kinda cheep
The little plastic eyes aren't actually part of the hinge. They are just caps held on by 2 tiny nubs. One popped off within a couple days of using it. I put it back in place but its just friction holding it there, a hinge will likely generate lots of friction I suspect it will pop off again. The metal body of the scissors feels sturdy enough I guess, but I'm just a weary after that first impression.

Lovely little kitchen shear but toucan design on blade cover is starting to deteriorate, and becoming sticky.
